10 Funny Matrix Commercials

I put together ten funny commercials that are Matrix-style or Matrix-like, referencing the famous Matrix trilogy - so these are no trailers for Matrix movies but commercials, real adverts. I made this video because the Matrix 4 trailer came out. I thought that would be the perfect moment for a video like this. Originally, I wanted to do a video with Keanu Reeves commercials only but I discovered that he didn't star in so many commercials in the first place, so I almost dropped the idea. Then a very good friend of mine asked me, why not make a video about the Matrix commercials, and I realized, that's a freaking good idea - so thank you very much, dear Manuela!
There were two problems with making this video: 1. Matrix came out in 1999 before we all had internet and before there was KZbin - that's why many commercials are not available online and when they are, they are of poor quality. 2. There are only a few commercials with Keanu Reeves and none of them is referencing his role resp. his character as Neo - so I included him in the video but only at the end, after the 10 commercials, as bonus material, as some of you may already know from my other videos.

1. GE General Electric, "Agent of Good" with the amazing Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith, Agent Smith, Agent Smith, etc.
2. MTC, "Russian Matrix" or "Matrix Russia" by Forte Grey Belarus for the network provider
3. Samsung, "Samsung Matrix Phone" (Answer the call)
4. Samsung, "Samsung Rotating Camera Phone"
5. Samsung, "Samsung Matrix commercial" for the 40 inch LLCD Flat Panel TV with an agent (Welcome to the new Dimension)
6. Kia, "The Truth", the famous Super Bowl 2014 commercial with the genius Laurence Firshburne as Morpheus
7. Kia, "Morpheus Commercial" with the "Woman in Red" for the Lane Departure Warning System for the K900 from 2014
8. Plenty, "Brenda", a Matrix-style advert from 2009 for the British version of Bounty (One sheet does plenty)
9. Pepsi Max "Matrix" or "Fight", also called "Matrix Parody"- that one is an amazing commercial with an act of black theater, very well produced, tricky and funny but it's also very old, so the quality is bad
10. Kia, "Game Day" a teaser from 2014 by David&Goliath El Segundo - I love this one because Laurence Fishburne is so great and it's actually a nice parody of the whole genre
11. Cyberpunk 2077, "No Limits" with Keanu Reeves
12. Squarespace, "Should You Make A Website" with Keanu Reeves Arch Motorcycle (Make it Squarespace"
13. Kellogg's, Corn Flakes Commercial from 1987 with the young Keanu Reeves - who would have known, John Wick would eat his cereals shaved?
The Matrix is a series of science fiction action films from the cyberpunk subgenre with elements of mythology, anime, martial arts etc., directed by the Wachowskis, produced by Joel Silver and starring Keanu Reeves as Neo (Thomas Anderson), Laurence Fishburne as Morpheus, Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Hugo Weaving as Agent Smith, Joe Pantoliano and others.
The series consists of four movies: The Matrix (1999), The Matrix Reloaded and The Matrix Revolutions (both 2003) and The Matrix Resurrections (2021) resp. Matrix 1, Matrix 2, Matrix 3, and Matrix 4.
There are also video games: Enter the Matrix, The Matrix Online, The Matrix: Path of Neo - and the animated film The Animatrix.

@@_festival Thank you for the information and for watching to the end 😊The Pepsi Max commercial is referrencing the Matrix by making fun of the famous Matrix fight scenes with its funny because obviously primitive black light theater technique that has been praised when the commercial came out, I still remember 😊 The Cyberpunk and Cornflakes commercials are starring Keanu Reeves but they are certainly not referrecing the Matrix movies, that's why they are not included in the 10 Funny Matrix Commercials but are #11 and #13.
