Nice video that 1 5/8 10 ga. steel load works awesome. The geese didn't stand a chance last waterfowl season looking forward to harvesting a bunch more this season. Awesome load👌 Thanks.

Awesome video. What shells were you using? I also see you're using your Mag-10 more than your Gold. Does the Mag-10 pattern better? Curious because I know it's heavier than the Gold so it must be better somehow haha. Good shooting

@@nathanielholl9086 thanks! I was using my 1-5/8oz steel shot load. Next time I will be field testing my 1-5/8oz 2-7/8” Devastator Short Range bismuth load. I like my Mag-10 more than the G10. Swings better, is better balanced, lower recoil, and patterns fantastic with the Briley thin wall choke system. I still like my G10 and use it, but my Mag-10 is just about my favorite waterfowl gun.

I have tried to respond to this comment at least 3 times and it doesn't post.... NO, I did not almost shoot my dog. Thanks for the concern, but not your property, not your worry. Gunner was away and to the right of where I was shooting. By the time he was in the water and working towards the bird, he was still well to the right and under the line of fire. I made the decision to continue firing because I was aware of his position and evaluated that he was safe if I fired again to dispatch the bird. He broke, and he shouldn't have. I am still working on that issue and lack of hunting and time to train doesn't help him. However, he AT NO TIME WAS IN DANGER OF BEING SHOT. If you have never hunted flushed game with hunting dogs, especially rabbits, you know that there is a lot of safety considerations and level of confidence building that has to occur before you become OK with shooting over and or in front of a dog and are proficient in doing so. A situation can go from NO SHOOT to SHOOT to NO SHOOT in a blink of an eye. Not your cup of tea? then don't do it, but don't start junk in a comment section that you obviously took no time to consider or think through.
