So is there a legit reason that 'gypsy jazz' sounds just like 'Cajun jazz', or is it just me? Please educate me, cuz I can't tell the difference. Like fr tell me, I LOOOOVE gipsy music, and I'm trying to be more musically literate so I want to know.😢

'Gypsy jazz' and 'Cajun jazz' may sound similar due to their vibrant energy and spirit of improvisation, but they have distinct origins and characteristics: Gypsy jazz, created by Django Reinhardt in the 1930s, combines American jazz, European Gypsy music, and French waltz, mainly using guitar and violin, while Cajun jazz, rooted in Louisiana's Cajun music and influenced by New Orleans jazz, uses accordion, fiddle, and guitar, focusing more on lively dance rhythms and celebration. Olli Soikkeli is great too. Why is Jimmy Rosenberg out of top

This is not a ranking, it is just a selection of 10 great Gypsy Jazz guitarists, dozens of other great masters of the genre were left out, but we may prepare a part 2 in the future. Thanks for commenting.

Sorry people, but Michael Paouris and Bako Jovanovic come across as superior to all of these. They are technically unattainable to all of these. If you've never heard of them, just check them out and see for yourself.
