Based on the reasons you give for your rankings, I understand why they didn't make it, but as a Texan, I would have liked an honorable mention for the Von Erich's, who started off as a kayfabe family (Fritz and Waldo, back when Germans, not Russians were still the go to bad guys), and ended up becoming a much larger, REAL family.

While Paul Bearer was on a tour in Mexico he had a fling with a woman there and because he was Bearer's illegitimate son he ended up having similar powers to the Undertaker. I know it sounds silly, but I just like coming up with what if scenarios.

Then there is the name change plus multi generation factor. So the gunns make it. Even though it sounds like legit offspring are using the name. But since the original tag team were not related they count. Unless im wrong...exactly how is that different than the Von Erichs.(rip) We were midsouth so I could be wrong. So I expect and welcome a WCCW fan to correct me if needed. There's two cases where this fake family thing blew me away. Arn and Ole along with Dick and Trevor Murdock. Bart Gunn literally had his career sabotaged by the vindictive Jim Ross. Bart was also told to do standard boxing style to fight Butterbean the tuffman champ about five weeks before WrestleMania XV. A style Bart Gunn had never even learned, until told to do so. Not, like the results would have been much different, but if Dr. Death won the terrible Brawl for All, he would never had to go against Butterbean to begin with, but have a program against Steve Austin after WrestleMania XV.

Johnny Valiant became a stand up comedian. His story about a naked Andre the Giant being "bored" at 3 a.m. was hilarious. Nikita Koloff became a minister. He gave a sermon at my church as a guest in 2003. He hung around after the service and told stories about how far he went, to keep kayfabe. Some of it was funny. Like when an elderly lady that had known him all of his life, called him out for pretending to be "a commie" in a store.
