Bill Walton's injury history is pretty incredible when you look at how much time he missed. He went one stretch where he played 14 games in FOUR YEARS. In total, the guy missed four entire seasons and had other seasons where he only played in 35, 14, 33, and 10 games. The guy was technically in the league for 14 seasons and only played in 468 games, an average of 33 games per year.

Speaking of injuries, they didn’t mention Shaun Livingston. His broken leg might have been the worst injury I’ve ever seen in sports, and to be able to come back from that is just incredible! I would say Grant Hill might have been the one who could’ve gone on to become a top 3 or 5 player of all time had he not had those injuries early on. Penny was also considered the next best thing, but the one player I feel most bad for I Greg Oden.
