For David Robinson, for context, it would have been great that it was mentioned that he had the size of a center, the body of a forward, and the speed of a guard. He was a 'freak' because he could battle it out in the middle against traditional centers, block or steal the ball, and outrun most at the time to the opposite basket, while handling the ball like a point forward. He was what the modern take on centers is nowadays, but with the size many modern centers lack.

Jordan was a 6'6 guy with a 46inch vert, the hands of a center, a 7ft wingspan, quick and agile, ran the 40y in 4.3 and had the best first step and hang time ever. There's not a fuckin single thing Rodman has over Jordan athletically besides maybe strength. The exact same reason why MJ was "the best of the best" was 75% because of his physical. 80s MJ is 10 TIMES more a freak of a nature than Rodman ever was, stop it.

It isn’t skill, it’s about athletic and freakish ability, porzingas is tall, can play defense well, can dunk well, can move really well, and can jump pretty well, dirk is pretty much just a post shooter, and a regular shooter, he was nowhere near as good at defense, dunking, speed, and jumping as porzingas, and that’s what makes a person a freak of nature, and porzingas did this while still being taller

Wilt Chamberlain was 7 ft 1 in tall, had 7'8" wingspan, 9'6" standing reach (in Converse All-Stars!), 13'0" max reach, reportedly had 50" vertical (MJ had 48", Zion 45"), he was agile and was quick as prime Lebron and stronger than Shaq. He was dunking from the free throw line during the summer before his first season and the NBA got wind of it and changed the free throw rule. Wilt was taking off a few feet beyond the top of the key, jumping from the line and dunking it. Oh yeah, and he was THE ONLY ONE who could block Kareem's skyhook, and it was after he ruptured patellar tendon of his right kneecap. If the statistics of blocked shots and steal balls were kept then, it is estimated that Wilt would have a career average of 8bpg.😲 And on top of that, he could pass like Jokić. Jerry West said Wilt would embarrass every center from every era.
