@@gavinmccullough1844 actually it was a genius move by pop. Duncan was a great defender, but he was old and slow, and not good at defending the perimeter. True that this list is impossible to make, but I feel like you left out Iverson stepping over Lue. @robattz27536 жыл бұрын
I was going to say exactly the same thing, I can understand the rest of the list - all once in a generation moments or clutch plays when games/finals championships were on the line but a simple crossover by one player on another to make a jumpshot - doesnt cut it for me

Lue was draped on him all 2nd half and while Iverson hit the big shots down the stretch, Lue was grabbing him, holding him and doing everything he could to disrupt Iverson and was doing so quite successfully. Until he got stepped over.

Navras77 People forget how many great clutch shots happened in nba history. Everyone wants the Block or the Stepover but what about the Dennis Johnson game winning shot in the 85 finals? What about Jerry West’s two separate buzzer beating shots in finals series (one to win, one to tie)? What about Vinnie Johnson in 1990 Finals or Horry’s shot in 2005 against the Pistons or the crazy game between the Pacers and Magic with four straight back-and-forth go-ahead buckets in the last 30 seconds? People need to realize that every new exciting moment isn’t automatically top ten all time just because it’s the only one they remember.

I saw D-Fish's buzzer beater on TV when it happened, and I honestly forgot about it. I don't think it belongs on this list at all to be honest. It was just a lucky shot that went in. Players make those kinds of shots all the time. All the other ones were way more memorable, and there are a lot more memorable buzzer beaters than that one, like Steve Kerr's buzzer beater in the finals. But if I had to pick a replacement, I would easily easily easily replace D-Fish's buzzer beater with Lebron's chase-down block on Iguodala in the 2015 finals. It's not even close. There's just way too much history there, way too much drama to leave it off the list, especially in favor of D-Fish's buzzer beater, which honestly wouldn't even make my top 20 list. Ending a 50 year championship drought with a team of losers, fulfilling a childhood promise, the redemption of the prodigal son, taking the best regular season team of all time and invincible defending champs to the final minutes of 7 games, I remember watching as Iggy got the ball and started the fast break with no one ahead of him and thinking that we've been down this road before, that once again Lebron would lose in the finals because the Warriors were just so clearly better and destined to win. You had T-Mac's 13 points in 35 seconds on your list, and you were right to do so. I like how you added the bit about how when T-Mac saw the ball roll into his hands, he knew it was destiny. Well, I think for Lebron it was the exact opposite. In the moment, I think the whole world knew that Lebron was destined to lose, that the basketball gods had once again foresaken him, and all Iggy had to do was make a layup to win the game. And then out of nowhere Lebron comes flying through the air 5 steps behind Iggy, the reigning finals MVP, and blocks it clean, as if to say "I don't give a damn about destiny," the perfect lesson to his storied "Chosen One" career - that nothing is ever given, everything is earned, even for the most talented player to ever play the game. It was honestly my favorite basketball moment of all time, and I've seen most of your list either live on TV or on ESPN classics, and I agree with everything else on the list with the exception of that Fisher shot.

No, he's right. I saw Jordan's final shot as a kid and that was my favorite basketball memory before I saw Lebron's block. I think people don't realize just how meaningful that block was. In the video, the content creator mentioned how T-Mac knew it was destiny when the ball rolled into his hands. For Lebron, it was the opposite. He was destined to lose and we all knew it. We've all seen fastbreaks a million times in basketball. Lebron was literally 5 steps behind Iggy, and when we saw him run out for the fast break, we were all thinking the same thing, that we'd seen this before. That Lebron was destined to lose because the Warriors were just so much better, and all Iggy had to do was make a simple layup to seal the game with no one within camera range of him, a layup as inevitable as a wide open Curry three. And out nowhere, Lebron blocks it clean, running the fastest he's ever run in his life, as if to say "I don't give a damn about destiny!" It was the perfect lesson for Lebron, the "Chosen One" to learn and teach to the world - that nothing is ever given, everything is earned. Kyrie hit the three, and that's great and all. But every time the ball soars through the air, the basketball gods decide if it'll land or not. Lebron's block wasn't about that. There was no chance, there was no luck, no destiny, it was the purest display of sheer willpower to ever occur on a basketball floor. And that doesn't even take into consideration all the history behind that game, that series, that season, that city, that team, those players. It was easily one of the top 3 greatest moment in NBA history, bar none, and it will be the moment that defines Lebron's career.

So yall just gonna forget when scalibrine single handedly defeated the lakers with kobe, cavs and miami with lebron, and the fact that he won the mvp 12 times and won the championship with a game winner from his house right infront of micheal jordans face. WWOOOWWW THE G.O.A.T

Daren Stroud bron would just bully Jordan the whole time

Jesus mate, did this really require a paragraph? Bloody Hell
@Ho_Lii_Fuk6 жыл бұрын
Daren Stroud LeBron is taller, stronger, heavier, faster and more explosive. MJ would have no chance. In a 1v1 LeBron doesn't have to carry his team so he can actually play d. Jk MJ would win because he is pure iso player but LeBron is all-around best player of all time
@johnthomas13536 жыл бұрын
Charlie Meuret you really nevered watch Jordan play because that kind of dumb shit should never come out of your mouth .Jordan got a mind set like a killer , LeBron is to nice of a guy to ever have Jordan's mentality
@johnthomas13536 жыл бұрын
Ho Lii Fuk only thing LeBron is better than Jordan is passing , choking,quitting , flopping and traveling

I once went to a college basketball game with the other pace university in Chappaqua, New York. At the end of the 2nd half, both teams scored buzzer beaters from beyond the three point line. The other was from half court. It was crazy, everybody was screaming. It went to overtime and pace university lost but it was a great game.

@minnesotatimberbulls696 жыл бұрын
3:13 You have to remember that the series was back when the NBA did series in a 2-3-2 format, so the Heat were actually at home for game 7.
