Honestly, I wouldn't put knull in the MCU In such a heartbeat. He needs the Thanos treatment. But there are other villains who are interesting threats. They don't even have to be cosmic threats. Knull, The Beyonder, Molecule Man, all them people are too fucking op. And to nerf them hard would be a disappointment and on top of that, if you killed them off In a single movie. Gorr, in my opinion, should've had at least 2-3 movies worth because Gorr is such a personal antithesis to who and what Thor is. And the fact that such dynamic was shown briefly is sad. And that he lived in the movie to only die In the end. Thanos was a personal threat for everyone. But Gorr was Thor's personal threat most of all In the comics. Made him doubt himself and become unworthy and question other things about what it meant to be a god and a hero. And what it meant to be a god among selfish petty gods who dont help their mortals.

I think what that meant was it would drive you into yourself and your ego and wielding the sword, as a mortal, would take its toll on you and if ever departed from it, you would die. And that's if there isn't a god that is strong enough to kill you while you wield it. Because Gorr in the comics wielded the necroblade and it made him MORE of what he already was. The Necroblade is the physical representation of a god killer. Anyone who has ever wielded the necroblade mainly used it to kill gods. Rarely ever mortals. Because knull's intention was to kill gods (he was trying to kill everything but his main opposition was gods because it is gods who create or expand everything). So in the movie, not sure if knull even exists at all, the blade entices him to kill gods. He already had a reason to be mad at them but the blade was already killing gods before Gorr picked it up, but the moment he did, it made him more of what he already was. Just that now he has the means to carry it out. Almost like the super soldier serum for captain America and red skull. It made them more of what they already were.

Watch it, my opinion... Cant really love the movie, Bale acting is really good, but in terms of story I think it could be better. I have to prefer the og story than this one, it simply become a comedy film. So many wasted potential in the movie.
