After going through these a few times I was hearing what everyone else seems to be hearing. Chris Buck and Pete Thorn both have that special sauce in their playing. It's the dynamics and their ability to fluidly connect the notes like a singers voice. It's quite unbelievable. At this level all of these players are tremendous and I love to hear the ideas they all bring to the table.

@@BobJones-bh9qz ; Haha, I know. But for someone who has to save all his money for months to be able to purchase a fairly normal, but good enough pedal, it feels a bit harsh to call all this stuff a cheap solution for a great sound. There’s absolutely a lot of truth in what they always say that sound is in your fingers. 😊

@@olafnelsonduerksen9676 calling someone the greatest does not diminish the value of others. It merely sets rank :) As a guy who might be lucky to be in the top 50% of all guitar players (but probably in the bottom 25%), it doesn't hurt my feelings to know my inferiority to other players. It doesn't change the value of my playing at all. It just means you will probably never see my name on Billboard ;)

When you see 'one track, ten solos' from such talent you automatically start thinking 'whose will be best?' but what you discover is that you end up experiencing the genius of expression from adept artists of the guitar. Each artist had a unique and beautiful interpretation. I feel fortunate enough to be able to appreciate each one's voice and not feel any need to pick a winner. Just beautiful! Great concept, Paul.

Another thing that gets me about Chris is his playing sounds so decidedly modern in every good way. I can't explain it. I watch most of their channels, and their knowledge is simply par with no one else. But when I go to Chris Buck's channel, I go to just be in awe of his playing. He never disappoints. He's always inspired. Like Kirk Fletcher, Josh Smith, and Robben Ford, every time I listen to Chris Buck, it makes me want to practice my ass off. I'm so grateful to live in a day and age where so many talented musicians can share their craft with the world without the red tape of the music industry biting into the flow of inspiration. Cheers to all of you. It has me choked up honest to god. I'm so lucky just to witness all of this beauty on a daily basis. Thank you from the bottom of my heart :')
