Genshin Impact has a floating island on top of a mountain and can take about 10 seconds to fall down. But the interesting part is that it has a glitch that lets you plunge horizontally and can get pretty far with it. (Not sure if it's been removed)

Finding the highest places in games and getting to the top are some of my favourite moments from games. Started with Infamous. Getting to the top of that mast was the best. Also the top of Empire State in GTA4 and finding the highest place in Arkham Asylum to do the glide achievement. Almost the only thing I do in Crackdown is looking for the highest spot to climb. Fun times. And now I want to play Ghosts even more. Have to get to that shrine. And Just Cause 4.😂 Great vid. Thanks for covering the topic. Think you can easily do a part two.

HA! I know a game that beats all of the heights you mentioned. It is technically not a jump and it is kind of a glitch, but it does showcase the greatest fall height in any video game I have ever seen in terms of pure fall time. The game I am referring to is No Man's Sky. A player in the game built a glitch cannon that can shoot people into space and it takes you like 5:20 mins to fall back to the planet. If you go to test it, make sure you have enough resources to constantly replenish your life support as it drains very fast in space. The cannon and experience is TOTALLY worth it! XD

The Golden Gate Bridge in Watch Dogs 2. There is even a way to get to the top of one of the tower things, use the lifts. You have to do so in the final mission of the Paint Job operation. Of course, you don't die. If you think about it, there is a good reason for that...

I do not know if anyone else has mentioned this, but I think the everlasting fall of Dragon's Dogma is a good candidate for this list: 1. you unlock it during gameplay 2. there is almost no way to die during the fall 3. you can literally keep your console/pc going for as long as you like and just let the character keep falling for literally forever. How to get to it...get to the point in the game where in the main city you open up the pit in the center of town leading to the true everfall (I haven't played the game in like over a year so unsure of the accuracy of the name), but you get to the edge of the pit and just jump off and make sure you do not hit the edge of the hole and there you go...infinite deep dive into a playable paradox.

One of favorite leaping off spots are in Drakan: the ancients gates. The Dragon riding warrioress, Rynn, can't survive leaps from tall places with straight drops unless you get lucky and survive with a sliver of HP or in really rare cases, glitches and Rynn is completely fine. A few fun areas are from high bridges or a mountain with a deep body of water under them to quite literally Swan dive into. If you position the camera right, her swan dive is beautiful to see. The other game I like to take the leap of faith from is in Kingdom Hearts 3. While there are tall in-game areas to leap from with no fall damage, there are also the easy to do Out of bounds areas to climb up and leap from, like the gorgeous giant waterfall in the Tangled world. These leaps are especially fun if you are using the Wreck it Ralph summon to raise the height meter.

I absoulty love doing this in gaming. I reccomend doing it with a car in Just Cause 2, from the highest you can go, there is a high mountain to do it from, and there is The Mile High Club, which you'd have to use a plane to get a plane to bring a car up to it obvisouly. My favorite juping spot is Aldrin's Tower from inFAMOUS, jumping off of that thing with streaks of lightning trailing from your hands, to crash down into the ground with a huge electrical explosion, is so much fun. It even gives you an achievement for it too!

The highest point to jump from in GTAV is the apex height of a jet. You can literally parachute from 300ft north of mt chiliad and land well south past the airport.

The Prydwen in Fallout 4. You can actually make the jump without power armor if you land in just the right spot. The place you jump from is pretty close to where you get dropped off the first time. There's a spot in the water that's slightly deeper (darker color). I actually did this by accident, as i was in a hurry to get to the airport an forgot to get in power armor. After I survived, I tried it again, but died. It took me about 10 times before I was successful again.
