Same here, there was a proper awkward moment when I was at college too, late 2012, we're having party, getting ready to go out so we're rotating through songs on KZbin, one guy puts on "rooftops", this was just a few months after it happened, and a few of us are just watching the video proper awkwardly thinking "does he... not know?" finally someone says to the guy "You know the singer from these just got arrested recently on all sorts." "Oh really? Damn." he just carries on watching the video "Yeah, apparently he uh..." he explained the story "Oh..." he quickly turns the video off and we move onto something else. So awkward

Ringo was abusive to his ex-wife due to alcoholism partially brought on by being upset about the Beatles' breakup. And Maureen Starkey would have an affair with George Harrison, who was having marital problems at the time. But thankfully both Ringo and George mostly got past such troubling behavior years later. I don't know how much John was able to atone for before his death, but probably not enough.

That would depend on a few different factors. Are the adult and the 17 year old related to one another? What country are the adult and the 17 year old from? How much older is the adult person in comparison to the 17 year old? Is the 17 year old of sound mind and body?(eg: not developmentally disabled and/or mentally ill) Was the 17 year old under the influence of any kind of drugs?(regardless of whether or not those drugs are of the illegal variety, or if it's cannabis, alcohol, or a prescription from a doctor) I'm sure that there are other stipulations from other countries that I'm not aware of, obviously. Whether or not someone is considered to be a minor child isn't something that is a rule of law from one place to another even within some individual countries, let alone from country to country to country.

@@louisejohnson6057 all those should have been taken into account, however, that still doesn't make the 17 year old a minor, (and it doesn't matter how big the age gap is it's just the larger the age gap, the weirder it is) and nor does them being related, that would just make it more disgusting and more illegal. But we know they were not related. This happened in England, In England the age of consent is 16 and therefore from 16, a person is no longer a minor.
