Nice video Lindsey! I've riden the coast road a few times, once at a brisk pace, nice bit of road and you have to be careful if going fast! I currently own a Bandit 1250 but am considering buying a xsr900. Steve from Taupo.

Thanks, it's definitely a nice loop to do, there's getting to be more of the xsr900 out there now.

Thanks, trying to add a bit extra here and there as I get more into video making.

Nice video. I'm looking at purchasing the XSR900. Is that a compass thingy with the V near your left hand. Do you find them useful ? Thanks

Thanks, think I am starting to get the hang of this video thing a bit. It called a Beeline, it's kind of a gps display that connects to your phone and you can pre plan routes with it. I like it for the most part but it does have issues like most technology, I'm still testing it a bit more before I make a video of my final opinion.

Thanks, great to hear that the scenery is making an impression through the camera, it's alot better in person and I have only done a very small part of the country so far.... lots more to come now summer is here!

what is the GPS you using

It’s called beeline, it’s quite handy, worked very well in my North Island 800 video, works in conjunction with your phone. They are releasing a new version soon I think.

Why are you riding with 4th (not 5th or 6th) gear when riding 100km/h or such?
@LindseyExplores2 жыл бұрын
if it's a really open road with not much traffic I'll sit in 5th at 100km but in 4th the bike is more responsive for cornering and potential emergency maneuvers. Yes it has 6 gears but it also idles really low at 100km in 6th which means engine braking is really reduced aswell.
