I respect the fact you are taking your time with this game, I "just" passed the two third point of the game now I think. It's crazy to think some people already finished it twice and got the plat. It's nice to see how good and different of an experience NG+ though, gonna be doing that straight after finishing the game; which is rare for me. @@unlistednaytiba I'm actually still doing NG+ at the moment, just taking my time collecting all the cans and variant outfits. This game is such a blast, I don't want it to end. I will be taking a break once I'm finished though, since it's almost time to jump back into Elden Ring again with the upcoming expansion. Shift Up also announced that something is coming this week so I assume that the first post-release patch/update is dropping soon. I'll be waiting to get that platinum with a third playthrough, it's going to be fun jumping back into this game after some time has passed and some more quality of life updates have been added as well, not to mention boss rush mode and photo mode. Last but not least, I really need that full OST to be released ASAP!

This game is just magical. I cant believe how much time Ive spent in the game already and Im still probably only halfway through the story. I really feel immersed in this games universe. if you look around xion, you find a lot of letters about people that dont trust orcal and I just cannot wait for the plot twist. Also have you checked Lilly after defeating Tachy? You will be blown away

Yes the tachy mode was pretty cool revelation. I thought we were going to get to play as tachy, but this is still pretty cool. Sounds like you're exploring a lot, so hope you got the platinum.

As the last few lore videos you've put out, I love how deep into it you get and your speculation and hypothesis too! I def look forward to your videos when they come out. I haven't finished the game yet... but I am past the "half-way point" where you paused. That was crushing, having to relive that Tachy moment a 2nd time was heart-wrenching. I really love the story/narrative the designers have poured into this game and it's so much more than the amazingly beautiful graphics of it to (though they certainly don't hurt and only further the game's appeal). I have to say.. outfit wise, That Orca Exploration Suit has to be my hands-down favorite even now. There's supposedly an Orca Engineer Suit that we get late game that looks like fire too! On a side note, I really wish they would add a "photo mode" to this game. The amazing job they did with lighting, attention to detail such as wind blowing her hair, etc. I mean... so many breathtaking scenic shots that I bet could be made better with a photo mode included. That being said... I think 5 hours of my game time has literally been stopping and pausing to admire the locals she's visited/traveled, paused to find a perfect angle/outfit to take some screenshots in (which at least the PS5 let's you do that even if it's a bit wonky delay wise LOL). I mean, seriously.. they NEED to add a photo mode. I'd actually pay money if they added it as paid-DLC and wouldn't even be mad LOL!!! Ok, I rambled enough for now... Looking forward to your next update when you have time! I may have finally done my first play-thru by then and hopefully starting my NG+ run LOL! (I've already clocked in 80+ hours combing thru anything/everything to not miss anything HAHA (but I know I've missed some stuff already I'll have to look into during NG+). So, yeah... Thanks again for your vids on this!

Yes I agree with you, I've spent a good amount of time doing "MIchael Bay rotation shots" around EVE in different locations. haha. She and the locations are great to look at. I have to say, you're a true enjoyer. The game's story is not something truly special to be fair. But I feel like it's actually good being a bit normal this way. It feels like human's history, full of conflicts, disasters, and also wonderful achievements. Your theory so far is pretty accurate, but there are surprises yet to be uncovered. The most disappointing part of the game is probably character writing, followed by voice acting. Raven turns out to be the most interesting character. EVE is gorgeous and innocently savage sometimes, but overall they didn't manage to leave a special impression on her character development. I guess I cannot ask for more from a studio that has never had experience of making AAA games. Stellar Blade as it is now is already incredibly fun. It's hardly a GOTY contender but I think it will win some sorts of awards.

I’d argue that Eve has great character development, the fact that you say Raven is the most interesting is actually proof of their genius. None of the characters are truly human, so at first you are supposed to scratch your head like “why do they act this way?” From beginning to end Eve doesn’t really have that much social interaction and this is the first time she’s come to earth at all, tachy seemed to be the only person she really had a relationship with at all so she’s socially stunted. It’s kinda obvious and idk why people haven’t noticed how well they portray this stuff. She is simply morally motivated because she’s a good person. Raven had been on earth for awhile before we meet her, in the legacies she is super awkward as well but she hadn’t been there long yet.

Raven definitely had a lot going on. I think some of EVE's relationships could have been developed a bit more, specifically with Tachy. But because of story and plot purposes, this could only have been done if they changed what Tachy's ultimate fate was. Perhaps they can explore that relationship somehow in future games.

People have biased opinions is nothing new. To be fair, the game's story is engaging enough but it's nothing truly stand out. The worst part of the game is the characters and English voice acting. EVE's part by Rebecca Hanssen is very good, Lily's is also good, but other characters don't share the same quality. I highly recommend switching to Korean dub for a more enjoyable experience.

Hi I just got to the bit where you say Tachy was human because we see the flesh and blood, however, terminator was covered in flesh and blood but was an android. Are Tachy's bones made of bone or metal. Personally think Eve and angels are part of AI and that the Natiba's were created either by humanity or AI during the war between AI and humanity. I am not as far through this game as you are. Love it.

@@unlistednaytiba yeah now that i'm further through the game (not finished. still fishing. ha) and it is obvious the natibas are human (still not sure who was responsible for that? human experimentation or an attempt at wiping out humanity with an infection by mother sphere) i think the real point is to consider the difference between humans with ai/ tech implants and ai/tech covered in flesh.

Make sure you get all the endings. (Might be able to save scum this) You can only see 2 of the 3 endings because 1 of them changes based on something during the game.

when you finish this game, I recommend you to playing NEW GAME ON HARD MODE. not NEW GAME+. NEW GAME+ is good though. because NG on hard mode reminds me, God of War 1 NG on Hard Mode. you are Kratos right? and don't worry. other save slot is opened. your 1st finished save file is safe.

Just to let you know, since I made the mistake in my first run, you technically only need two full playthroughs for all three endings, since after you beat the final boss, you can load your save again, which takes back to before the final fight and then you can choose a different ending. But yes, if you want the third one, then you have to play a second time.

@@isitnotzio7518 Oh, I just googled a little bit and it seems like you have to beat the final boss first try for this method to work, because the game creates an autosave when you die. So the process should go something like this: Go to the final boss, choose your ending, beat it without getting defeated, watch the credits and then in the main menu choose continue, which puts you back to before the fight, choose a different ending. I can test this out further tomorrow and come back to you with a definitive answer if you want

@@isitnotzio7518 Alright, quick update: I played to the end and beat the final boss first try. After the credits finished I hit continue in the main menu and the game put me back before the fight AND the final conversation. I was able to choose a different ending. After that I started the fight again and lost once on purpose. The game sends you back to before the fight but AFTER the conversation, meaning as soon as you reach the boss again, the fight starts straight away without being able to choose an ending. So if you want to get all 3 endings while only playing the game two times, you NEED to defeat the boss without getting defeated ONCE. But even if you get defeated, I can tell you that my third playthrough to get the last ending only took me 5 hours. Because New Game+ let's you skip most cutscenes and if you play on Normal Mode or Story Mode and you leveled Eve's sword and her skills in your first and second playthroughs the fights get really easy. Most bosses literally go down in seconds. Hope this helps and have fun with rest of the game :)

I love the game, can't stop playing even with some negatives I have of it. Like many say, the combat and exploration is what attracts me the most of keep playing it even with the terrible voice acting for most characters. Adam is surely one of the WORST voice acting I have heard in recent years (don't tell me put another language, to me it makes NO sense watching or playing with a language you don't know and glue your eyes to the bottom of the screen for the sub-titles).

Haha. your comment about another language... that's actually what I'm doing right now. Trying to eat food while watching a foreign movie (eating while reading subs while watching a movie) just doesn't work.. haha. But I'm trying it in Korean with subs and a pretty different feeling in some areas. I think now that I'm on NG+ and I know the story, reading the subs isn't bad. I agree though, ADAM and some of the NPC's were pretty rough to listen to. haha.

@happydaddykratos Hollywood top voice acting and known actors do voice acting in games for many years now so the acting quality has blown up mostly to 5 🌟. Ironically, of my comment as well, my 1st language is french. I heard Stellar in French and it's baffling ugly to the ears 👂 I will debate subs vs dubs to the end... English dub is better for everything games and anime!!!
