Loved this video Ricky 😊 Brought back some nice memories of when I flew this product back in March from HND to London Heathrow (via the polar route avoiding Russian airspace) and got to enjoy the luxuries of JAL First Class for over 16 hours 😅

Finally, I can check off flying Singapore Airlines A380 Suites Class, 3A, SIN-FRA. No surprise, by far best suite I’ve ever flown. As always, excellent review.

This review would have gotten 5 stars out of 5 but considering the superb effort you put in to try almost all the food available on this flight (I could sense a tone of either weariness or discomfort in your voice as you made a valiant effort to bring this through) I'd give you an extra star. I very much enjoyed the showing of the foods on board together with the kind of champagnes served. This gave me knowledge about the grade of champagnes which I would not have if I didn’t watch your channel. It would not be perfect to sit in first class without taking champagnes and trying all the available delicious menus. Thanks for sharing.

Another fantastic review. Your outstanding videos are my research. Taking my son to Japan, Spring of 2024. The miles required for this flight seem surprisingly low. Lufthansa First class with United miles is usually 171000

Very nice review. Most business/first class have ample spaces in its little domain. What I find interesting and useful info is the food and drink options they provide. I guess I got lucky. I paid $8,000 each for the three of us for round trips from San Francisco to Tokyo and back. The seating is very nice. My mother has to be fed, so being able to sit across from her while eating makes it easy to help her with her meals.

Great call on not drinking the pre-departure champagne -- a rookie mistake I'll never make again :') Was curious to know if they're (still) serving caviar with crackers instead of blinis? Thought it was just a one-off on my September flight but have heard quite some DPs about it.

I fly J out of SYD to Tokyo then F to LHR for 10800 aud and other full F are round 16k minimum. No need for F on daylight 789 flight. Great value. Show all pax courtesy.

Japan 🇯🇵 Airline is among one of my favourite airlines. Next in line are both Singapore 🇸🇬 Airline and Cathay Pacific Airline 🇭🇰. Korea 🇰🇷 Airline is also good 👍🏻, but never on United Airline 🇺🇸🚫

Didn't know it was 1k for that. I asked for some champagne on my flight but I couldn't find the menu option they said it was first class only. I went to the bathroom and I came back and they had a cup with champagne waiting for me (economy). I felt so loved by them after that.

amazing stuff, I still haven't tried first class yet they seem even harder to book than business at the standard points fare. it seems to me AC's dynamic pricing is really hard to book and use points unless its 6-12 months out. I have AC points (a lot), some Avios (60k), and about 80k MR, what would you recommend transfering MR to, avios? or virgin? seems like I can't transfer to Alaskan.

Great video! I've been trying to book first class with Alaska miles as well, but keep getting an error that they are unable to confirm space on these partner flights - so frustrating! It shows as available on the AA award travel page, but can't seem to book. Do you have any advice?

Samething happened to me but yesterday it went thru. I think it becomes bookable 14 days out so I suggest you look out for that opportunity.

thank you for your tips on redeeming via Alaska Airline. I do have 1 question. When I try to redeem it from LAX to Tokyo, it gave me the route from LAX to SFO, then San Diego, then LAX and then finally LAX to HND.. what a route.. all over for the original request??.. and do you know I redeem this and i just don't take those local/domestics flight since they are Alaska Air, then just take my original LAX to HND via JAL, would that be an issue?

There’s no business class or first class to exchange now. Maybe they think it’s loosing money for them. Edit: shit, my bad. They actually do have first class, but you need to look it up just few days or 2-3 weeks before your departures
