I’m an older player and this showed my generation is being phased out. I’m a franchise mode guy. I didn’t hear anything about that in this video unless I missed it. Most, if not all of the game changes are made with the online community in mind. I’m an offline player. I just resigned myself to the belief that I won’t be able to play 2K anymore. I’m not part of the group that makes them rich, so they focus on us.

My biggest take aways are the shooting and dribbling mechanics. It's different, but I like it. It'll take some getting used to but I'm glad we have my court again so I don't have to go all the way to team practice to get the mechanics down. I just got the game a few days ago but haven't really been able to really play it because of work, not only that but I'm out of town right now and didn't bring my console. When I get back I'm really gonna get my players dribbling attribute up and focus more on that and the shot timing. What I have a hard time getting used to tho, is the new shit meters. Hopefully we get the previous ones back because there are times I get greens back to back but then all of a sudden I'm missing shots left and right. But it may be because I just changed my shot animation. Tim hardaway jrs shot is my go to but I seen one that has a better all around grade so I think I'll try that one instead.

It’s sad that we’ve gotten to this point but I’m right there with you. That park $h!t is flooded with cheaters and pay to win players. And nobody truly cares about the MyTeam BS that has become a parasite to sports games. And for the love of fun, when are we going to get an actual All Star Weekend mode? We should be able to access a dunk contest, three point contest, skills challenge, and All Star game from the home menu. And one thing that really grinds my gears is the fact that none of these sports games have integrated music streaming services! We should be able to make our own custom soundtracks like we used to be able to do on the first Xbox and the PS3! Especially since it’s not pirated because we’re paying for whatever streaming service we use🤷🏾‍♂️ But yeah that’s my two cents, not sure I can buy anything with it though🤣

The game itself looks actually good I played 2K24 on the PS5 and it was not bad too. Sometimes the shotmeter was not accurate but it was okay. The reason I don't want to play it anymore is the space it takes on your harddisk (180 GB). In my opinion ridiculous and unnecessary because an average game takes between the 30 and 60 GB maximum ( Madden, NCAA 25 for example). Even open world games with a big map took less space. I would not buy an extra memorycard from around €150 to build in only to play NBA 2K25 !!

More story line and meaningful moments in my career. Old badge system. Less reliance on micro transactions, a thought out theme like the old school games (example: the jay z year of 2k where the whole of the game felt like it played into the hip hop theme) a game that actually has a skill gap and each archetype plays completely different, not just everyone shooting 3s at all times. An option for offline players, more meaningful events that aren’t just double rep. More animations that aren’t locked behind a paywall. Literally everything this game isn’t

Lies, MLB The Show has gotten better each year. Madden has been azz for well over a decade. 2K doesn’t make big changes because we keep buying it and there’s no competition. The new Top Spin is nothing like its predecessor, it is fire. NHL is fire and definitely way better than the previous year. UFC greatly improved over its predecessor but it can stand more improvements (grappling and ground game is still entirely too complex but somehow is still not complex enough). WWE 2K24, though a fake sport, is better than 2K23. I just wish they’d get rid of the controls and take it back to the Here Comes The Pain days. The upcoming Undisputed boxing game seems to be on the path to be a worthy successor to the Fight Night series… But I do somewhat agree with you in the sense that I feel like no sports game should come got every year. They should do full releases every other year, if not every 3 years to allow for deeper development and improvements. They could then simply update the rosters and some of the graphical aspects each year for the price of DLC (maybe $30-$35 for the DLC). But like my drunk uncle says, you can wish in one hand and $#it in the other, but we all know which one will fulfilled the quickest 🤣

The court looks too big. Part of what is amazing about the NBA is their ability to create space with such small space. 10 people on the court with dudes from 6'0" to 7'0"+ there isnt much room to navigate to the rim
