1000 Stones, the black forge and Galdr table + the smelters, enough material for a portal and good food - that is what i was using. The Stone i used for raising ground walls between two large Rocks a few meters from the beach in shallow waters. From there i was raising the ground around the bow of my ship. The ship can't be seen from the shore and the only danger now are the serpents - which are a good food source and easy to handle from the raised ground.

good insights about weight of material vs weight of refined (flax, barley) and what is better: craft then transport or transport then craft. This calculation was missing from some bronze/tin mining tutorials I've seen on YT, where people transported copper ore, tin ore, coal to main base while bronze could be crafted on the spot. 1 bronze weights 12, materials for it weight 40 (20: 2 copper ore, 8: 1 tin ore, 12: 6 coal)

Its hard to keep track of everything I dont blame people xD Funny how sometimes things get heavier if you combine them, othertimes they get way lighter !

Just wondering we couldn’t portal some of the materials out mentioned once we have a outpost in Ashland? Thx

You can portal most stuff :) But not metal or cogwheels for the catapault. But eventually youll get a core, so you can make a stone portal, and then you can teleport metal with the stone portal
