Nova Echo AI is another tool for business owners specifically. It can make sales/ customer support calls all while sounding like a real human. It is also far cheaper than a team of human reps, and far more consistent as well.

Some of these are great tools and thanks for sharing! In all honesty though, some of the enthusiasm at which people seem to be handing over their intellectual, creative, and cognitive sharpness (or potential for) is a nagging concern . This is mostly regards to generative models, to assume that there is no value in actually reading and analyzing something, or that the creation of art is only about the product, is a perplexing trend. It will be interesting to see how this plays out when AI generative material begins to become overly saturated.

Depends on what you consider thinking to be. Most thinking is constrained in the current paradigm which isn’t actually thinking but rather more of what the AIs are doing which is just regurgitating the past. That isn’t thinking. Actual thinking is thinking out of the current paradigm which from within the paradigm looks impossible. Therefore, thinking means thinking that which cannot be thought. Try that with supposed AI and see how much intelligent shows up…

This AI stuff is useful however, I think it the future it will only increase the value of people that can actually produce a product or service themselves. I'm using this space to open a space for a conversation that's tangentially related. I'm looking to focus on what people consider thinking itself to be, as thinking and conversations about AI are often placed together. Intelligence and thinking are inextricably related such that one assumes the other. I'm pointing to @jrbling25 using "handing over their intellectual, creative, and cognitive sharpness" as an opportunity to not take what those words mean to each of us casually as I think we usually do. I'm looking to not not only not hand it over to AI but not hand it over to loose thinking about the thinking and expressions of others.

Parrot was a LIVESAVER for me last semester. It transcribed my online lectures really well, and relived me of a lot of stress and headache. Best of all, it's free. My only real issue is that the UI can feel a little janky sometimes.

I've been using the Adobe audio enhancer for a few months now and it literally saved me some videoshoots when the mic died or we had some different technical issue. Used my iPhone as an audio recording device and then I just enhanced the recording. Quite impressive.
