I've been using Infinite Painter on/off for a year on my Android tablet. For the most part it's been a good experience. But it's also prone to crashing, buggy sometimes, and lacks solid consistent community/support. sorry i thought this app was android but just realized you've got it on an iPad..with an apple pencil.....amazing. i also have an ipad and use procreate....but have been struggling to find a comparable art pen for my samsung.

This app is for ipad AND android 😀 I just use an iPad Pro and Apple Pencil 2

Great video mate! I use the app on my Galaxy note 20 ultra and for some reason, I cannot do the Dock Tools customization as you show at minute 1:43. Do you know if this function is only limited to tablets?

I will one day when I have spent enough time to understand what would be useful for people. When you select the transform tool, go to your layers and you will spot there’s a checkbox in the top right corner of each layer’s thumbnail. Check any layers you need and you can edit them at the same time 😀

Thank you for the tips, What I like about this and procreate dose not that good at it is the brush engine, it's very good especially for emulating pencil, When I tried it once I never went back to procreate.

Select the area you want to affect with the selection tool in one of the layers, click on transform and before doing any changes press once on each layer you want to affect, it will mark them with a red square

Hi, is it possible to make it so your work and merged layers can be cut out perfectly with no background, so it can be imported into photoshop and dropped onto a canvas? I've been trying to do this for ages

Yeah you could group your layers, turn off the background and share as a png 😀

I appreciate the content, I'm an advanced user so I already knew all this, what I came here to find out - I own an Android tablet and what bugs me is that every time I start a new project it defaults to his own brush (pencil) and eraser (soft airbrush) is this also the case on an iPad? probably nothing, its most likely not available on mobile due to screen real-estate

i have a question with DPI and RAM. Could it be the reason it crashes or (like myself), can't even open my last project? I'm wondering how can i calculate the right size i should use, and also if we should flat the layers sometimes?

It totally comes down to what your design purpose is. If its just social media for example 1080x1080 is small enough that its great for social media and will not put too much stress on your device. Make sure to always make saves as well hitting the options top right and save. It allows your canvas to recoup memory. Also to recover that canvas hold down on it and try restoring it to a previous auto save. You may loose some of your later changes but atleast you'd get back into it

Oh, this bugged me so much, then I tried wearing my old knitted fingerless mitten while drawing. It works for me. There are gloves specifically for drawing, but I didn't want to pay for one. 🤭
