There’s a book called “We Sold Our Souls” by Grady Hendrix if you love metal and horror. Also, Rifftrax give Rock’n’Roll Nightmare a good skewering and is hilarious. It’s on Roku and Prime

It's actually a series, and so far I've only seen one episode, but Hysteria on Peacock is pretty rad. It's a story about 3 teens in a metal band in the late 90's who start getting attention after 2 fellow students go missing. And of course, the parents and media blame Satan; so there's this whole Satanic panic angle too. Bruce Campbell is in it as well.

Thanks, I needed some recommendations. My horror film knowledge is pretty shallow, although I did get in to watching a few of the early 20th century horror flicks last year. It would be fun know what albums would pair well with some horror flicks. If you haven't heard the new Gaerea yet, make it a priority :)

Metal and 80s schlock is the real deal. Absolutely hated Deathgasm though. When a movie consciously try to appeal to metalhead, it always comes off embarrassing and patronizing. Like a senior relative trying to relate to you by naming entry-level bands that he knows very little about.
