hey there! a little tip! with the cast iron, if it's sticking, and properly oiled. it's not ready to flip :) say you're cooking a piece of meat. you know it's good when it doesn't stick, you flip it and let the other side cook :)

Great video and you are so fun to watch! I have a Shun santoku knife that I use every day and I've also had it for 10 years and it is hands down the best knife I have ever owned! Also, I think I may need to "fix" my cast iron skillet - it's a Le Creuset one and I've used soap on it and probably shouldn't have (it looks fine so who knows maybe I didn't do any damage) but I was having the same problem as you that everything was sticking to it and it was the only way I could get it clean. I haven't used it in oh probably over a year now because I hate it. So I'd really appreciate one of those videos you're thinking about doing on cast iron skillets! Thank you for sharing.

+Kimberly Newsom Hi! I will definitely do a cast iron video soon. I ruined so many of them before I figured out how to use them properly. Stay tuned 😊
@XxdoncelladelmetalxX7 жыл бұрын
Kimberly Newsom clean our your cast iron skillet with salt and paper towel. The salt cleans the skillet well while not ruining the seasoning of your pan. After that you spread oil all over the skillets surface and I just turn on the burner on my stovetop and let it heat up until it starts smoking. After that, turn it off and you'll notice your cast iron has a nice sheen to it.

These are great things to have. I have to find those Titan peelers. Thanks. My favorite tool that I use weekly is a Shrimp Cleaning tool. Pop off the head, stick this in, it lifts off the shell and legs and splits the shrimp so you can pull out the vein. Makes them easier to Butterfly as well.
