Fun Fact: Dull blades do hurt worst cause instead of slicing through they actually rip through kind of like a paper cut. So it doesn't feel smooth it feels like tearing.

The saying is “a dull knife is a dangerous knife” something like that meaning it takes more force to use a dull knife leading to possibly deeper wounds if cut.. where a sharp knife you don’t need any force and the chance of cutting yourself (while being used correctly) is slim to none..

No it’s actually just in terms of cooking. A full knife means you have to put more force/leverage or like have to go back and forth to cut food which increases your chances of cutting yourself. A sharp knife on the other hand cuts easily. Also a dull knife has the risk of slipping on say a tomato since it requires more force and it can cut you

He means when you use a lot of pressure from a dull knife and the knife slips, all of the pressure you used on the knife is going to cause you to loose control which is then the reason why you hurt yourself. With a sharp knife, you don’t have to use a lot of pressure cutting and you are in more control.
