Thank you for this video!! You made it easier to plan the dashboard layout; have it functional yet beautiful 1. Corners 2. Borders: florals, Washi 3. V-up: upper corners - bottom central 4. Up down: one side down and other is up 5. Center 6. Mid page 7. Diagonal from top to bottom on each page 8. Hodgepodge: spreading decor around / keep it 3 areas ( rule of thirds) side side center 9. Bottom to top 10. Top center : bottom corners to add some decor and center top for the main decor

Thanks for this! I shopped too quickly and didn't realize I picked up a dashboard layout. When I got home I unwrapped the planner and was so disappointed. So this video is just the kick start I needed to use the space differently. I need a pdf of all the different layouts!

So glad you made this video! I got the dashboard layout planner some time ago (probably Dec/Jan), but am finally using it (it starts in July-so 7 months is a long time lol). This is a great video! I'm new to the Happy Planner line and have started my journey with the dashboard layout. I've watched so many plan with me videos and while they are interesting, they intimidate me at the same time. I like the simple way you explain the different options to add some decoration to the weekly pages without filling in every little space leaving what looks like, not much room to actually plan in the planner.

@@squairdplans I'm a fan of the lined vertical...I just received my glam girl planner in the mail and it's lined vertical. Just give it a try to see how you like it. I don't like horizontal to much either, i have those as well. Lol

@@squairdplans I use a wellness vertical and use the bottom block for journalling in response to the prompts. I decorate with faith stickers to encourage a positive frame of mind and still have plenty of space to record tasks, both work and personal. It has worked well for me in the last year.

Thanks for the ideas. I will be switching to the Happy Planner in 2020. I plan on using a mini horizontal in 2020 for my main planner with additional minis added in for gratitude, fitness and journaling. I'll use a classic size for things like monthly meal planning, tracking chores, bill payment, misc lists. Curious, what planner or planners and sticker books do you plan on using in 2020?

Sounds like you know wassup in planning! 😜 I am still in limbo on my 2020 lineup. Pretty disappointed, actually, in the fall release this year. 😔 I will definitely stick to classic but with healthy hero retiring and only 2 options for horizontal, I need to figure out what to do. 🤔

So many great ideas for someone new to planners....like me! BTW per your recommendation, I bought a Frixton pen. LOVE it! I hate white out and throw out so many greeting cards because I make a mistake and refuse to use white out on them. My new favorite thing.
