I have never encountered an influencer/content creator who is so honest and relatable when it comes to friendships. Most of what I see online is people constantly posting about their social lives whether it's going to wedding, tons of bridesmaids, or going to a party or even lunch dates with friends. Showing off the amount of friends you have or "we've been friends since we were 5" is nice and everything but so is growing as a person. Being able to say yes or no to people instead of keeping people around who just don't contribute anything but a number to your life anymore. Thanks for keepin it real Miki! Love you!!

Also agree with the many other wonderful lessons you shared ❤I am 28 and a few lessons I learned the hard way are... 1. Nothing good happens in a rush. 2. If it seems too good to be true, it probably is 3. EVERYTHING has trade offs. There is no perfect. You always have to give and take a little in life and if something is 70-80% what you're looking for, do it. Buying a house, looking for a new job, even with finding a partner.

Summary __________________________________________________________________________________ 1. The only person capable of changing your future is you. 2. There will always be love and that’s ok. 3. Some lessons have to be learned the hard way. 4. There is something to learn from everybody. 5. It will never be enough until you make it enough. 6. More expensive does not mean better. 7. Declutter your mind and your space regularly. 8. Some people are just for a season. 9. The biggest risk is to not take any risks at all. 10. Take even the bad with a grain of salt; it may be a blessing in disguise. Favorite Quotes ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ - Every time you reach a goalpost, you just move the goalpost forward. - The whole reason we work hard and we earn money is to treat ourselves and enjoy life. If you’re doing all of the work and input now but you can’t enjoy the output until you’re old and frail and unhappy, then what’s the point? - Most of life is an infinite game.

@@scrubsandsoysauce Miki, what education system you think is the best for your future kids ? Like, if you become Asian American parents, what education background you want your kid to succeed ?
