Yeah you’ll never hit the level 10 combo on anyone who has a controller. Dair to grab isn’t true on a lot of characters, Fthrow dair can be escaped with DI, dair to up tilt just doesn’t work, and you can tech the footstool. Something better to go for is Fthrow to Fair to f tilt and then tech chase/ jab lock.

Kirby might be slow and unreliable but once you get your hands on an opponent, you are getting that percent up.

EXACTLY. You have to play super smart to get close to your opponent, but once you are there... The Kirby domination begins.

Yeah the level 10 is so so much fun! Hard to land because it can require your opponent to make mistakes, but it's amazing if you can do it.

The up-tilt into the double jump footstool is 10x hard than everything else on this list combined and it kills me

If u wait after the first jump (while going toward ur opponent) and jump as soon as u are on top of his head, u can either use down b or the jab lock setup

If you don’t wanna do the footstool, you can, Storting from the up tilt, do a dair and finish it with a down smash, it does 82% max I think which is a good substitute

6:24 This combo on captain falcon lvl 6 cpu can hit as low as 25% any lower and he won’t fall. If you forward throw into down air into this combo you can use it at as low as 8% You can probably use up to when your down air doesn’t Connect, though I don’t know for sure. For anybody who wants to know

I used to play smash bros as just a party game ide play when my friends came over but then one of my friends practiced for 9hr a day just to flex on everyone. I practiced that level 10 combo for about a week now and I think I'm ready for my revenge. Thanks for the combo

Word of advice to anyone who wants to use combo four, the qualifier at 2:14 is close to my experience as well. However, I know that people who know this combo will read it and use a move like zelda's nuetral b if possible. The opponent will often choose a safe attack to disrupt the back air. Again, only if they know the combo/ fight agaisnt a kirby often.

I will say that any DAir done to Bowser will not work. By the time the grounded hitbox connects, his Tough Guy mechanic kicks in because he is on the ground. Only a Bowser with history with Kirby MU will be able to react and pull a shield and do a 3 frame upB. To counter it, I always go for a re-grab when he shields.

Now with the friendship ending combo, I did pull it off in training mode, and I can’t wait to use it on my family once we get to play together Edit: In fact, this isn’t NEARLY the full extent of Kirby’s true power. You definitely should have set that to 11.5 because there is way more stuff Kirby can do

I’m not particularly good at Smash, but I really want to be. These bread and butter combos with such insightful commentary really made certain things more comprehensible. Before watching this video, I didn’t know how to jab lock. Now I can do it fairly consistently! Awesome stuff man👍

The combos is fine, you never said thats is true ,but is interesting that, a lot of combos that can be teched o you can make a DI , It would be interesting to show alternative options in case they are "roofed", for example if they roof out (the most detrimental thing for Kirby's combos), be prepared with a dash attack or ftilt to continue the combo

Great video but for the 10 combo I would put idj dair combos instead. They work great and I can hit them consistently in game. It's great off a f tilt into 2 down tilts jab lock

Hate to "um, actually" you, but the level 10 really doesn't work. First off, dair into grab doesn't work on most of the cast, including Falcon. He can double jump, airdodge, or even spotdodge if he DI's down. Secondly, F throw fair regrab isnt true on a lot of characters (especially ones that dair grab actually works on). Then, the f-throw dair isn't true if the opponent DI's. Also, dair up tilt isn't true on most characters, and they can obviously tech to avoid the footstool. While it is stylish, this combo will only work on very inexperienced players who aren't using DI, trying to tech, and are only using bad combo escape options. Many of the other combos shown in this video are untrue for similar reasons, as well. Kirby has a lot of solid combos, some of which ARE difficult to execute. I'm not upset, but I wanted to clarify some misunderstandings you may have caused. In the future, it would be best if you researched the combos before teaching them, or prefaced them by saying they aren't entirely true. (The up tilt footstool setup is sick tho lol)

While the last combo is good/fun the forward throw into dair can be air dodged out, so really anyone in elite smash it won’t work and trying it in bracket will miss.

When I go for the second forward throw to down air the opponent is usually too far away for my down air to connect, any tips?

As a Kirby main I can tell you that if you hold the direction stick towards your opponent and then flick the c-stick down it will connect unless they air dodge. Super reliable tho.

I knew about the up tilt to footstool to jab lock but I never applied it because I never practiced up tilt to foot stool. I didnt put in the time to air dodge to the ground. But this combo is too clean to not put it in the lab. Thanks.

before the side-b at the end hold the side-b, jump because your opponent is probably going to attack while getting up, when you get back down release and boom, 0-death (i think, i haven't tried it)

Before I took a long break from smash I used to somehow combo without thinking about what I’m doing but now I’ve lost that skill with Kirby 😭 I would just put out random attacks and somehow it would turn into a combo
