Yessir, or at least damn close. Billy Strings mostly uses all the same licks and runs as these flatpicking/crosspicking guitarists. He's just REALLY good. Still one of my idols. Actually it's entirely his music that brought me here.

Dude you play these licks so slow when you teach them that it makes it pretty much impossible to want to follow along as an advanced player.

Buddy if youre so advanced you shouldnt need somone showing you how to play them...learn it by ear. Literally slow down the video and learn it that way, cuz thats what advanced players do.

I think you mistake sloppy for advanced. If you can't play it slow, you can't play it period. An advanced player, is looking for the little things this gentleman does to get the sound, and the only way you get that is listening to the slowed down version. Beginner musicians are trying to get their fingers to the right notes, but an advanced musician is working the interpretation. It all happens slowly, practice and learning is done slowly. I hope in the last 4 years you have advanced as a musician.
