I got to chat with Trey at some length after a show while the main act was performing, and he couldn't have been more gracious patiently answering all my stupid questions. His skill level is obviously otherworldly, but he also comports himself in a very humble, approachable way. He has it all going on.

life long devoted to learning metal guitar. Recently went back to my roots and started listening to country and blue grass cause I want to learn it. Quickly find out mastering metal really does not help at all with this style. Realize I'm basically "new" all over, only difference Is I can actually play the guitar, just not this style. Spend the next 10 years mastering this so I can flatpick like John 5, Roy Clark and Billy Effin' Strings. I'm gonna master flat picking. For myself.

Under the Double Eagle, is a German marching tune, and was not played in the US during WW II, and for a while afterwards.
@kw91726 ай бұрын
True, to be nitpick, it´s an Austrian/hungarian tune because the "double eagle" (anb eagle with two heads) is the heraldic symbol of the Austrian Hungarian Monarchy, hence the weird name:)
