#BecomingSupernatural #JoeDispenza #BookSummary
So I read this book coming back from a show on new year's Eve. I was playing with my band in Chicago, literally just finished reading about synchronicities in this book, which is a fancy word of saying when you think of someone, you check your phone if you've ever had this happen, and they then they text you that weird coincidence, right where the phone rings and it's them and so I'm in the back of the plane using the lavatory and I come out and I see the flight attendant and lo and behold she's like, Oh my God, we're reading the same book and it was this book becoming supernatural by dr Joe Dispenza, talks all about stuff like that, the unexplainable and it gives it really cool backings in today's worlds using science, using neuroscience and we're going to unpack the best 10 ideas by dr Joe Dispenza on becoming super nice, cool look guys. Clark from refusing to settle.
Hey, if you're new here, this is our book summary series where we take the best books, self development books, business books, making money, books, psychology books, law of attraction books, whatever, and we review them here giving you the 10 big ideas. I will say, if you like this book, you want to support this video, we have it linked for free where you can get it on audible. That really helps us out. The other thing that helps us out too is smashing the heck out of that like button. So go do that. Now it takes half a second and without further ado, let's jump into the 10 big ideas. I want to start with my favorite story from the book. This blew my mind. Dr Joe Dispenza talks about a woman who wrote a book called a change of heart, and in that book it talks about her experience receiving a organ transplant from a donor.
So she actually got a man's heart and she didn't know it, but then she started craving all of these foods like really greasy foods and like pizza and hot wings and deep fried pickles and her daughter's like, mom, you're becoming such a dude. And when they trace back the origin of the heart she got, it was from a young guy who had died in like a motorcycle accident, who those were all his same foods. Now here's where it gets absolutely crazy and I get goosebumps even talking about this. Okay. Dr Joe Dispenza talks about another story. Same thing, organ transplant. This time it was an eight year old girl and she got a heart transplant. Shortly after this heart transplant, she's getting these night tears things where she would wake up at night sweating because she felt like she was getting viciously murdered by someone.

Love that "you need to go old school!" So true, I teach meditation having done multiple 6 week long silent retreats, 10 hours a day. Clark in TCM traditional Chinese Medicine- each organ is linked to an emotion. So for example the lungs are connected to grief.... liver to anger...so emotions reflect organ energy imbalance or vice versa, someone for ex. who drinks is often called an "angry drunk." as that is the alcohol irritating the liver. Depending on energy flow some drink and get relaxed, so the liver energy in them was more blocked/restricted and it's now moving more smoothly.

The Principle of Mentalism “The all is mind; the universe is mental.” We are all connected the universe is ONE
@janetklakable
@janetklakable 3 жыл бұрын
Interesting. To me we it is an electric universe. The mind creates only perceptions, you may say it is your reality. I say, NO it is your perception of reality. Raise your vibration and you change your perception, actually, everything around you changes. Your connection to others is not mental it is vibrational through electrical means. Like raising the amps on a battery. Being smarter doesn't raise your vibration. Being more loving does.

Thank you for taking the time to do this. I was thinking of buying the book but there were so many crazy mixed reviews. Now I know why. It's because people want novelty and a quick fix. The very statement that this is old is what draws me in. There is nothing new under the sun. And if you really want to heal, you're going to have to work your ass of to do it. But it's possible. It's possible to heal yourself.

@@nimanajeha1564 No health problem but I was going through life aimlessly. I want to keep this short but In my childhood I was ignored a lot by my parents, that game me a peculiar personality which got me bullied, lost trust of people when I went to them told them I was bullied and they did not do anything or labeled me as that weird kid/weak needy kid. I did not have any world view growing up in my younger years, if you had met me at 19, I did not even have a clue what to do or how to function in life. I bounced from job to job the pressure almost killing me, had no friends cause did not have the social skills to even talk to people. When I got this book 1st it gave me a world view to live by. Knowledge that I cloud not even ignore when I was going through the dark night of the soul. Since this whole book is filled with charts and graphs. My healing was more of in sanity/mindset realm rather than anything.

Clark, thanks for a good summary. I just finished reading You are the Placebo. But I didnt read Becoming Supernatural. I am a freedive/breath holding instructor. So, we can slow down our heart rate by holding our breath and the brain wave will go down to Theta, too because there is no mechanical force from breathing. The longer we hold our breath, the closer we are into the blizz. Heart rate is down to 50 bpm. After 2 minutes of breath hold, I always started to be in my inner world. If anyone wanna learn breath holding, use a freediver technique would help holding your breath super long.
