Hello, Katharine! For me, idioms are the most difficult part of English. But, here, you presented the lesson interestingly! You gave pronunciation tips and that is so important for me as a foreign learner. And the story examples that you added in the explanation were also interesting and important for clarity. And, I think “once in a blue moon” is my favourite. Well, perhaps it reminds me of “Blue Moon of Kentucky”, a country song that I like best. I agree with you that moon usually refers to romanticism. I have used in my regular conversation " to call it a day". "Better later than never" was an idiom written on motorway 🛣 board in my native country. I have head " once in a blue moon" was my favourite expression. 💙
