Ok I am just going to say it people can agree or disagree as they so wish . I can understand buying a handbag or shoes , clothing because some artistry goes into designing and making it but spending hundreds on a water bottle with LV or Chanel stamped on it or costume jewelry that will eventually tarnish seems ridiculous . The only thing your paying for is the name at that point because there isn't anything really special about either .

As someone who's been decluttering their clothes and bags for the past two years, I find this video so informative and relatable! I no longer buy from designer brands as much as I used to, but this confirms my belief that when I decide to purchase from them again, I gotta think twice and look at the stuff I already have before pulling the trigger on a purchase.

I’m under 5’ and the large chunky earrings look ridiculous on me but, I love them! As for skin care, I follow a dermatologist on KZbin and she has never steered me wrong with her suggestions of excellent drugstore products. She also advises what to look for in products. I think you’re right about not buying any more of the Chanel brooches. I’ve heard other people say that the stones fall out of their costume jewellery, which is terrible considering the prices. Also I think costly skincare is a no for me, as it has to be replaced so frequently and I’m not convinced it’s actually better.

Love this! 💕So funny about the Chanel water bottle - when it came out, everyone was going crazy for it and I was thinking they were mad! But then I got caught up in the hype and thought maybe I need to get one - but I gave myself a serious talking to! 😂 I did try to get one of the bath products as I thought at least I would use them, but luckily they were sold out! They were all definitely gimmicky and overpriced, so I’m kinda glad now I missed out! 😝

Omigod! Dior sneakers are the worst for comfort. I have the plain white ones with the Dior on the laces and have worn them maybe 4 x’s in 5 years. They not only give me horrendous blisters but they are so rigid that my feet ache after wearing them. The only reason I haven’t sold or donated is because of sentimental value as my husband tricked me into going into Dior for a work thing (long story!). I’m sitting there bored waiting for him to finish up and the SA comes out with a big gift wrapped box and it was these for Valentine’s Day. I have so many designer sneakers that are comfortable (Gucci, Chanel, Common Projects, Golden Goose), that I NEVER reach for the Dior ones. They are so pretty but I’ve learned my lesson too many times and suffered for it when wearing them. 😢

I have the same issue with heavy earrings. I love the way they look, but by midday I always have to take them off. I actually have a yellow bag and I feel like that color can go with almost anything. Yellow doesn’t clash with too many colors, and it adds a nice pop of color, especially when I feel like my outfit is too monochrome. 🙂
