Hey Tom! Thanks for the review! We're glad you guys like the HaloLock car charger. We wanted to mention that we designed the support arm to rotate. The issue you faced with the vertical vent slats can be quickly and easily fixed by rotating the support arm to a stable support position. Hope that helps and keep up the great content!

I have the ESR car charger that I stick to my windshield (don’t get the vent version). Really convenient & the magsafe strong enough to keep the phone in place during the road bumps. Plus I can charge my phone if I need to.

I got the MOFT from its Kickstarter. I don’t think it lasted a year. The side seams opened up to expose the metal. I don’t use the MOFT iPad stand because it doesn’t protect the glass, but I still use the MOFT laptop stand, though. This was helpful, thanx.

Not all MagSafe products give the protection to keep debit/credit cards working (magnetic contact destroys the data). You get what you pay for! Also magsafe can be dangerous for in-built/internal medical devices...
