Hogan wasn't wrong for what he did to Richard Belzer, the guy asked to be put in a front facelock, all Hogan did was squeeze. It's not Hogan's fault that the guy was an idiot, it's like going to a BJJ academy telling people that they are full of s*** and challenging them to put you in a guillotine, and then trying to sue the place because you got put to sleep

Hogan was backed into a corner. The wrestling business was extremely protective of itself and people were constantly calling it out as fake etc, so Hogan couldn't pretend to put the lock on Belzer. Another one that deserves to be mentioned is the death of Jimmy "Superfly" Snuka's girlfriend in 1983. It has been speculated that Vince knew about it back then, but helped cover it up to avoid losing one of his popular wrestlers, and as we know, by the time Snuka finally did get prosecuted, he got let off due to his mental condition, and he was even given a small tribute after he passed even though he had been deleted from the HOF and Tamina had been forbidden to use the name Snuka over it.

Dropped the ball again, it's not Roman they were worried about upsetting, it was his cousin and the reason why Jax is back and "Ava" has a job. The Rock is the 1 they don't want to upset. He can do more damage by trashing the WWE than Roman ever could, not to take away from Roman but the Rock is loved by most of the fans. As for Taz calling out the WWE for an "unsafe workplace", just look at how many times the AEW wrestlers keep getting injured do to very sloppy wrestling.

Most of these are scandals that most companies wouldn't disclose, but for the most part I'd say its four things: 1) They didn't tell the fans about most of this stuff because it doesn't involve the fans and/or should be of no concern to the fans. 2) The only people that really feel they MUST know are just snoopy busybodies who want to meddle and gossip about other peoples' affairs. 3) For the most part no good, or the amount of good is far outweighed by the negative, would really come from letting the fans know about most of this stuff. 4) They aren't a news show and almost all of this would fall under "news" - are they supposed to add a "This Week's News and Gossip in the Wrestling Industry" segment to RAW? Or do you want to see more matches? Like Umaga: his fans will remember him fondly for the entertainment he brought them over the years... or should WWE tarnish it by acknowledging he was a junkie that they tried to help but he refused and he died. Or JBL: No they didn't fire him, but WWE dealt with it. Hazing and backroom shenanigans are part of the camaraderie of the industry, and most industries when its a small tight knit group on the road for most of the year... bringing this up isn't going to do anything good for Mauro because a lot of people will see him as a cry baby who is not a "team player" or "one of the guys"

I figured the Chris Benoit would have been a big one The steroid scandal you stated but that was not the first time. And I know it's iconic now but the clicks send off which arguably damaged the cafab image I thought at least some of those would be in the top three but what do I know

You do realize that on some of these are legal issues they more then likely were advised by their legal team they couldn't or shouldn't say anything. Anything said could be used in court. Doesn't mean they were trying to sweep things under the rug.

particularly when a lot of things are just allegations. I mean I can accuse the rock of instigating a gang rape but, that shouldn't result in him being immediately fired. there has to be some level of investigation there or people will just abuse the system to get rid of anyone they don't like.

This is why I’m a solo sikoa fan. He pays respect to umaga every chance he gets. He had a sad exit to this world but what he did in the ring should never be forgotten. He’s as big a factor in the build up of John cena and Bobby Lashkey as anyone. The Samoan bulldozer is a legend

Umaga's death came at a time where they stopped acknowledging premature deaths on air as a way to try and clean up their image. Pretty shallow really. That's why Lance Cade wasn't acknowledged either and shortly after they did that whole cringe Stand Up for WWE campaign.
