I can see Sasha and Naomi walking out as unprofessional sure, but there was a huge lead up to the walk out, they didn't just come into work and say "Nah we out" it was a long issue that affected both of the stars. Sasha being blamed for something even though what she was being blamed for was forgiven, and Naomi just being forgotten and pushed out after her title runs.
@3820MD
@3820MD 9 ай бұрын
Well said 💯! Despite Sasha proving how great she is, she was practically treated as the Marty Jannetty of the four horsewomen in the form of not having as many lengthy title reign as the other three. Meanwhile Naomi had to work an ill-fated jobber role, rarely getting victories, being fed to the likes of Sonya DeVille just to get TV time. Even her time as SmackDown Women's champion was poorly booked due to lack of standout feuds before she dropped the belt today equally mistreated Natalya!

@fortunes_youtube
@fortunes_youtube 9 ай бұрын
@@stevenbryant8160 I don't really get the Marty Janetty reference but just because someone got perceived better treatment *this time* doesn't exclude mistreatment other times. I'm not even going to speculate whether or not they were "mistreated" but that's the word being thrown around so I'm just clarifying. Since this is pro-wrestling, sure Sasha the character had high-profile matches but Mercedes the person thinks she wasn't being paid enough to match those performances. Whether or not that was a valid claim is not my business. Now on top of that, there's the tag team debacle. This part I'm way more confident to back up since WWE creative is a mess more often than not and it's a mess now. And even then, tag teams involve other people. Sasha and Naomi probably preferred working with each other or just didn't like the direction creative was going. It wasn't a Madusa situation, they basically resigned and left straight up unless there were other negotiations. Personally, I feel like WWE did the Sasha Bianca match to pander toward 2 Black women having a main event (disclaimer I am Black) It's a 2 night thing now as compared to when Ronda Becky Charlotte happened. I don't remember how much buzz Sasha's match generated compared to the first one. Just seems like a WWE thing just to do it and give extra accolades when convenient. Either way, I don't think random title reigns and pay per view matches necessarily say "well treated" with or without comparison to her male peers.

It’s because no one ever saw him as a singles threat. He’s been a midcarder in the past, but him as WWE champion was a feel-good moment, nothing more. People *thought* they wanted to see it, but once they got it, they’re like “okay cool. He won the title. What’s next?” The New Day is far more over than their individual parts. It’s like seeing Hawk or Animal with the wwf belt. Wouldn’t make much sense. They’re far better together.

And now that the WWE creative is being run 100% by HHH, it is HIGHLY likely that Sasha will return, and very possibly, at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV. The Warrior one has since been disproven. His wife published recorded showing that Vince and Warrior made an agreement after Wrestlemania 7 to match Warrior’s pay and that Vince broke the agreement. Apparently, as the story goes, Hulk Hogan threatened to walk out and go to WCW if Vince honoured the agreement and with his signed movie agreement (Mr Nanny and Suburban Commando), Vince couldn’t afford to let that happen, so he backed out the deal which caused the 2 decade long feud between Warrior and Vince.

#1: It's a well known thing that Holly was a bully, Bob just did what he always did but this time it just so happened to be on camera and with a newcomer. #2: Banks and Naomi weren't wrong! The booking of the Women's tag division has always been awful and they are far from the first wrestlers to ever walk out from a Promotion. #3: This entire list could be just Shawn Michaels back in the 90s, Shawn improved massively as a human being, but the entire "Montreal Screwjob" situation as well as the Hart heat was all on him. #4: Was Shawn bumping around like a madman during the Hogan match unprofessional? Yes, but Hulk's entire career was unprofessional, Shawn just gave him a taste of his own poison. #5: JBL is one of the biggest a**holes on WWE History

I don't think what Mercedes and Naomi did was unprofessional. Officially resigning from your job is not an unprofessional act, especially when you have been put into a position where you have been given no other option and when you have given enough notice so that your leaving does not cause any harm to that employer. Mercedes and Naomi gave WWE 8 hours to fix the match which WWE were able to do quite easily. I still agree with Naomi/Sasha walkout to this day. Look where both ladies are now, Naomi is actually holding a title and is given the opportunities that WWE barely gave to her.
