@MsEcnerual Thank you very much! At some points I agree with you. This album is not the best, but it's still got of some great songs (Red Shoes, This Train, Love Her Like Me, Mansfield etc.). What I refer to in my description about Elton voice is that his voice has gone more powerful. It started in 1990 and then his voice slowly descented. Then in the interesting year of 1997 Elton voice descented noticeably during the tour and we had the first baritone Elton as we know him now-a-days.

@MsEcnerual About the setlist, I don't think Elton has left out the song because of their quality or uninspiredness. I think the songs from SFTWC is of high quality and well composed (some songs like Birds, The Wasteland etc. isn't!). I think, however, the songs is left out because Elton's popularity has decreased very much and people who attend his concerts is more interested in hearing the songs they grew up with rather than the songs which isn't that popular.

@MsEcnerual But we all have our opinions and a favorite period of Elton's carrear. I personally enjoy the present and the 1997-2001 but I also love the early performances. I can't really choose a period --every period of Elton's live career is unique and each performance is different. And if you don't like Nikita it's fine. I don't care, but I think the song is fantastic and I don't wonder why the song became a hit. :)

@EltonJohnGigs No no no...There´s an excellent audience recording of the first date of the tour (Cleveland). Even much better sound that this one.

Supposedly, this song was about yet another Bernie breakup. It could also be a reason it didn't last long in the live rotation. Good song, though.
