I was so pissed with Al Davis that I started following the Chiefs!! I run into him in the parking lot of a W LA street mall just after the superbowl and the guy was so humble that we talked for a while (I was a freshman at USC during his senior season when he won the Heisman Trophy and went to most of the home games)

I don't know why Al hated Marcus so much? Was it because of his good looks, that he came from USC and got a lot of attention? Because the team wanted to make him the offense early on? Idiotic jealousy. Marcus Allen is just one example of Al Davis accusing others of being more than the team when he was the one doing that. It was the same with Jon Gruden. Former scout and coauthor of a book on Al Davis Jon Kingdon mentioned how Al got upset when he saw Gruden on a billboard. I respect Al for what he accomplished, but he had a massive ego and got in his own way.

The fact Bo played two sports and no training camp any off season workouts basically just showing up on game days is beyond impressive and we will never again see a duo athlete like Bo. You're right, he's not good. He's GREAT! No other running back in NFL history has over 10,000 rushing yards and over 5,000 receiving yards. Plus, he wasn't afraid to do the dirty work.
