Arabs and Iranians kept building colourful huts or dry mud towers. Thank God/Allah that the Ottoman Turks and Mughals, had a unique original style and taste for architecture.

where is Kairawen mosque (oldest standing minaret) or Zaitouna mosque (oldest university in the world 732 ad)... It's not about size, it's about beauty and architecture. North Africa, the Levant, and Iran are the embodiment of History and beauty.. The golf is overrated, Only the Kaaba is worthy of praise in the golf, the rest is immitation and will be soon devoured by the sand dunes

Stop showing Persian/Iranian architecture as ''islamic''. Religion and culture are two different things. The Persian architectures that you showed belongs to the Iranian culture NOT islam. Even Iranians with different type of religions such as Iranian Christians etc have that type of architecture in Iran because that's Iranian architecture NOT islamic. I think you're mixing islam with arabs, you see muslims took architecture from the Byzantine Greeks who succeeded the Romans, ie. The domes and archways, so obviously its islamic architecture, be it Arab or Berber or Indian or Persian in the end it came from islam. You already know that ancient Persians did not build domes.

Look up islamic calligraphy, geometric patterns and islamic architecture. These architecture appeared during an era when people were represented by their religions, all europeans were christians and all muslims were saracens, however if they came from modern day Iran or ancient Persia then obviously it would be regarded as Persian, thats why we say Persian music not iSlAmIc MuSiC...
