I agree with you 100% with the SSI app!!! I still haven’t figured out how to manually add a dive site. Entering your gear is a waste of time…the list goes on! I guess that’s why I also still keep a old school log book!

The gear section was in the app back in 2017, then it went missing until 2022. Funny thing is that the information that was entered originally came back.

I personnaly note all the gear i use (size & co ...) in my dive book because when i rent gear i always forgot what feat me !

@@john_church I don't know, i tried to use an app only one time. I think it's good to have max possibilities to be able to do different stuff. If you go in a special dive, you maybe want to write what gear you have use for this specific dive in the log. So, it's best to be able to write gear in every logs.

Looks like you struck a nerve at SSI, as the app now has these upgrades. Wonder if PADI will follow suit.

Sounds like their back end developer quit. LOL…and they should integrate Google Earth.
