Oh, I like this alternative. I've never been a fan of traditional tiramisu (wrong flavor profile for me), but I could totally get behind this. I've found that I really only like marscapone cheese when it's been paired with fruit. I'm going to have to give this a try.

I have made this so many times and turned out great. My advice if you use frozen berries, they tend to shrink as they thaw, so you need another cup of them.

I hope this isn't a rather dim question, but for this type of tiramisu, are berries best for this dish, or can other fruits be used as well in the same manner? Say mangoes or other tropical or citrus fruits?

It's a great question! Yes, you can definitely use other fruit as well. Get creative and just make sure the flavors all work well together and with the cream/mascarpone filling.

The only reason I don’t eat tiramisu is because coffee is the main ingredient, and I can’t stand the taste of coffee in anything. I’m definitely gonna make this when I can, and I might even add in some chocolate to the “mousse”, because why not? Thank you so, SO MUCH for this coffee-free version. Love your work! ♥️

I want to use flowers to decorate my cake but I don’t know how to get affordable safe flowers. The edible flowers at Whole Foods cost 5 dollars for a small handful and there was no way I’m going to spin that much. Are normal flowers from bouquets safe or will the pesticides be toxic. well, given that you have all the ingredients (with no need to make your own ladyfingers), the recipe itself only calls for ten minutes (give or take a few), but you can only eat it a few hours later 😂

This is so good! I cheated a bit and substituted an 8-ounce thawed container of whipped topping mixed with a 7.5 ounce container of whipped mixed berry cream cheese for the creamy layer. Then I topped it with another 8-ounce thawed container of whipped topping. Yum-E!

Yes you can! But you need to make sure the mango is fully drained of any liquid so that the cream cheese mixture won't split.

Yumm! I'm not really into regular tiramisu, because I just don't like coffee, so I always make berry tiramisu. I also like to add some limoncello and/or fresh lemon juice to the mascarpone cream so it tastes a bit fresher :)

Loving these 10-minute and simplified recipes! Just a note, making mascarpone is very easy, it's just the curds left after curdling double cream with some acid!
