I turned 57 y/o in September. I am 300 lbs and a bit tore up from a life in the martial arts, and just generally not taking care of myself. I injured my right hip and was having a bit of a go with it, and my lovely daughter turned me onto your channel. The way you present Yoga makes me want to do Yoga! LOL! Seriously...I get the sense that this is more than just something you do. Your sessions radiate a depth in you when it comes to Yoga. Thank you for sharing this w/all of us. I enjoyed holding the pigeon pose. It helped me realized that I hold tension in my cheeks and to allow them to relax as well.

I just love the variety of your videos. I can always find something that suits me, either by the length, the strength or the body part. It would be nice if you could make a few more videos with standing yoga exercises and maybe something like "yoga by the work desk" - something simple that can literally be done during a break at work. I’m not sure why but sometimes I’m overcome with emotion when I finish your yoga practices and I start crying. Are unresolved emotions stored in the body and does yoga bring these out? Try and do your morning yoga for beginners 10 minutes and sometimes the 15 minute morning yoga flow before work, feel great 👍🏼💪🏼

You take way too long in the first pigeon pose, my leg fell asleep, try letting your yogis know how long to hold a pose for

This video is only half pigeon poses, which is why I titled it "Extra Long Half Pigeon Stretches" This is the only video like this - where it is only 1 pose held for 5 mins - so you might like the other restorative or hatha videos.
