I remember doing this exact same thing back in the 80's! Running from the police on our 125's and 80's was something we did often! We had cans of gas stashed in the woods so if we got low we could fuel up. The police were always big mad, but many years latter I caught up with one of the cops who had retired at a local bar. He was telling another retired cop about how they used to chase dirt bikes and never caught them. I could not believe my luck LOL!! I went up and told him that I was one of those dirt bikes they never caught, LOL!! I proved it by telling him exactly where they used to chase us. Likewise, I bought him and his buddy a beer and talked to them. Really nice guys. Unfortunately, a few years a go, he passed away. This video brings me back to those days.

When I was 13 I bought an RM 125 off my friend. We lived next to the woods back in Newfoundland. On a Saturday morning I'd be riding around our survey until I'd see the lights and siren coming up the road flat out. I'd stay about 30 feet in front of him until the road turned into a walking path. How many times he would lock up the brakes and slide into the trees. Never ever got old. Thanks for the memories. Stay safe.
