I love using pu resin, as the results are usually bubble free with minimal time and effort. You can add mica powders or pu dyes to part A, give it a good mix, and then add part B. This way, you aren't using up precious pour time. If you want a pure black, use black pu and some black pu colourant. It's amazing when the moulds are dusted with chameleon powders first. I found out through error that it's better to mix in smaller quantities. I try to stick to 120g max. Im sure you will love experimenting with pu. it's a great resin and a godsend in the colder weather ❤

Oh wow 😊 iv looked at this new resin but was a bit scared to use it as you have to be quick. But after watching your video I'm defo going to get it for my silicon moulds. Its awsome that it doesn't need uv. I'm so happy you shared this video! Thank you so so much. I seem to have missed loads of your videos as they didn't pop up as usual! But you were the 1st person I thought of when I opened my new batch of das clay and its really not good. Its very dry. So I'm glad I looked you up cause I knew you would have a video with this problem! 😊 I'm now going to binge watch your videos. Your domino's came out fab! God bless you and your God gifted hands. Sending you much love from your old subscriber from the start of your channel ❤️ xxx

Hi Nikkei, thanks so much for still watching 😊 Regular epoxy resin doesn’t need uv and takes about 24hours to cure so you don’t need to be as quick as this one, but this one is a lot of fun and good when you want instant results 😊 Good you are thinking of more clay but not good it’s dry, you could pop it into a plastic bag that you can seal with a teaspoon or 2 of water and leave it to soak in for a day or 2 and then take out and knead a small amount and see if that helps 😊

Can you flood paint the dots and successfully wipe off the excess as you can epoxy? Wondering how well this resin would work for dice.
@RedRockingBird4 ай бұрын
Yes you can, you just have to work quite quick to get the resin into the molds otherwise it will cure quick in the cup, as with the dominoes it’s possible if you go fast for something like dice and mix smaller quantities, thanks for watching, have fun 🤩

Very neat! I’ve been wondering when people use markers if they are oil based or not. I clicked your Amazon link but I could not find the info. Could you please let me know. Thank you 😊
@RedRockingBird Жыл бұрын
Thank you, I would think oil based, they are waterproof and not soluble to the resin. Pens: amzn.to/3WHOmvQ

@@RedRockingBird Another thing how can I avoid bubbles in the resin?
@lightbulbnirvana Жыл бұрын
I have heard that mixing resin with a wood stick is a no-no because there is air in the wood and it taints the chemistry. Consequently, it's better to use a silicone stir-stick. See if that helps? The dominos turned out great! I think less bubbles is a great property of the product. I don't think that they polyurethane come clear does it? Thanks Sarah! Cheers ❤
@RedRockingBird Жыл бұрын
No this is white and can get some brands in black. I always think that about the wood stick just after I’ve used it, but they always include them in the resin packs 🙈 so automatically use as they’re just there, my resin sticks are too wobbly!!!
@ArtsyLadyCrafter Жыл бұрын
@@RedRockingBird Are you saying that this product does not come in clear? Or that you just bought white? TFS! Looks like such fun. Looking forward to trying resin casting for the first time.

The day before put water in mold and measure, tip it out and dry completely, then once fully dry you can use that measurement with whatever resin you choose
