Agree with lansvacr. Loop diuretic is a part of treatment for hponatremis. Also sodium and water reabsorption in proximal tubule is isotonic, filtrate osmolality at end of PCT is isoosmolar

i didnt understand exactly why this is titled 'diuretic induced hyponatremia, since this loop diuretics mode of action seems to do the opposite of hyponatremia. making less water reabsorbed and more free water excreted in urine is basically the goal of treating hyponatremia. isnt it?
