Howie is a tough little cat. He takes all bites and hits from Weave without complaining. Even Duck made some growling when he and Weave were grappling. But maybe Weave is more careful with the kitten ... 😉

Little man keeping his claws sharp is for his defensive to have Weave back up off of him. We now know why he was sharing his claws on tge door edges at the deck .Howie had a plan as a tiny Itty bitty kitty. Now when he spreads his paws open, Timmy can see Howie is a super kitty like a old saying " A MAN WITH A PLAN" Howie is a kitty with a plan,A & plsn B for Weave and we see it quite often. Teach her to do Nose In Hand too! It's the best when they stick their nose in your hand to get the nose warmed up lol! My pup used to do this all the time when she was a puppy & every time she did it I said "Nose In Hand"... 11 years later & it's one of her favorite tricks to do & just when chillin out gotta keep da nose warm haha; so cute. And retrieving ofc!

When an animal of higher intelligence bites biut not that hard...it's really a sign of acceptance. It's behaviour indicating your in the pack or the group. It's also really funny watching Howie grow up around Weave. The cat is way more ornery!

Weave is so pretty, even with a wrinkled nose and a tooth out! For all of the yarring, I never see your hands bloodied, so she must be holding back. I assume she holds back with Howie since I rarely hear him yowl when she chomps him. You probably shouldn't roughhouse Howie in front of Weave because she might take that as weakness and hurt him for real. When my brother and I were kids and roughhousing, our wolfdog/coydog would attack whichever of us was down and losing, rather than defending. She was super sweet and loved us and everyone she met. No yarring unless we were playing rough.

I think Howie is a Ragdoll. Kinda looks like it to me. They are both cool. I just would like it a little better if they didn't always have to be "git him" "git her" "chomp him" "chomp her" I don't think violence should be encouraged, playing is one thing but all that chomping could hurt Howie's insides. Bruise his organs and cause him to have issues later. I mean, he isn't meant to be chomped by anything. ✌️

Agree born hunter, right off the back, seen him climbing hills, maneuvers through bushes, jumps hills ,climbs trees, jumps down on four paws, & climbs down from trees just like the baby cub bears I have seen doing, takes his share of food and runs off to protect his piece of meat, follows behind Weave out on the field in the same manner Duck was doing. learning more forest skills from Weave. Before we know it we'll be calling Howie " Kitty/Coy or Forest Kitty🤣 LMAO.

Many dogs don't like their paws played with, and most cats. Raccoons, however, love it. For a raccoon, massaging the fingers is petting them. As for the chomps, for many of the dog family (canines ~) chomping is a form of affection.

I dare you to blow a rasberry on weaves belly! I had a 1/2 dog 1/2 coyote and yes she did the nose wrinkles, yarrs and "light , nibble bites" I'd catch her off guard while rubbing her belly and blow a raspberry on her belly 😂😅 she didn't know what to do! Bite me or yarr/ bite another person or pet near by or get crazy ZOOMIES! Sometimes all of the above ❤ I miss my o'l girl. She was very protective and great with the kids

I just want to say I've fallen in love with all your animals, and I know you know what's best despite the comments. I do worry, but they seem genuinely happy, but a happy life can be risky.
