Outbreak will sadly never come back. They devs said the game cant take the mode returning back shortly after it ended. It was amazing but extraction wasnt made as a successor, it was made to be a cash grab

All that had to do was disable vsync for extinction on console and it wouldn’t lag and be 60fps, figured it out on the last day.

@kyzmn lag wasn't the main problem from what I've heard (never played) it was the lack of replay value, limiting of characters if they die, and every mission feeling the same
