This was an awesome concept for a video. Also cool to see the amain atmosphere in the background. I also work in a call center/office setting and it's always cool to see how other people run their shenanigans.

Jay Halsey is a legend! Love those gold pan RC10s with spiked tires running on actual dirt. Back when racing RCs actually looked like 1:1 vehicles. These new buggies would absolutely destroy them though!

Ill never forget seeing Masami in early rc mags and being hypnotized by his cars and dominating winning streak. His paint jobs are by far some of my favorite and most recognizable i think.

The RC History stuff - yes please!!! More more more! (salivates). Jay Halsey has done so much, wow! I can’t find RC history anywhere except for “Carpet Racers” and some small vids about Team Associated developing their 4WD starting with the MIP founder’s ingenious ideas. Given the growth in the hobby and the proximity to Hollywood, a major RC documentary would make some big profit I think. Sir Lewis Hamilton, Tony Stewart, Nick Tandy, Travis Pastrana, all these folks would make great cameo’s. Adam and Rhonda Drake would be the central figures of the plot. Again, this video is brilliant, Sir Brett!

Have not watched longer than until 0:09 and boy oh boy does THAT image bring back some fond memories of the smell of burning flesh because I was dumb enough to grab hold of the resistor....AGAIN......lol But seriously though, the tips of my thumb and index finger on my right hand literally cant feel heat anymore because of those ancient resistors, soldering and cooking lol

6:26 RC was invented by the Nikoli Tesla in 1898. 1898! Say that again... Yes 1898. 18. 98. Just let that sink in... thats 1898. 18. 98. 1898. And he built a boat. Why? Because there were essentially zero cars on the planet in 1898 only horses. This is possibly the single most amazing fact in RC history. Tesla was an undisputed genius.

A few annoying pedantic points: - All your names for shocks are correct, though 'dampener' is the incorrect (albeit commonly used) interpretation of the word 'damper'. A dampener is presumably something that dampens (makes moist), rather than damps (dulls, vibrations in this case). - Radio control is a _type_ of remote control, which is to say all radio-control (or radio-controlled) things are remote-controlled, but not all remote-controlled things are controlled via radio.
