I can related about your 1st topic. I went to Korea in September 2019 because there was an exhibition that I had to work on at Cheonggyecheon. After that, I took the delegation on a tour, and when were at Gyeongbokgung Palace, there was a group of grandparents who kept staring at me. At first, I thought they do that because I was wearing a hijab, and when I looked back at them they smiled and said in English "Your are so beautiful" while pointing at my head, and I said "감사합니다". I think Korean people especialky grandparents really enjoy to meet fireigners. Because when I was in the exhibition area, many of them tried to communivate to me with English. Some of them even asked me about Indonesian language, foods, and things.

BB cream is like a tinted cream or sunscreen if it has SPF and makeup is about Foundation,blush,highlighter and doing makeup and applying BB cream is two different things..

I was planning to comment how Joel looks extra good this video. Well, I got the answer why mid-podcast. Also, Aaron's sigh during the aegyo segment... I felt that. 😂 About the Korean foods being all healthy, I guess another contributing factor is how everyone seemed to have clear skin. From where I am, one misconception is that we're all friendly to foreigners just because most are fluent in English. But we're all humans and have different temperaments as well. Also, times are changing. People are more careful interacting with strangers in real life. Might be just my thoughts though.

I enjoyed living in Korea, but as a female be cautious walking around by yourself at night in bigger cities. Also, did run into some racist issues being African American and all (lived in the e Seoul area). Would’ve shrugged it off most days but even my boss felt comfortable being vocal discriminating against the different ethnicities. Luckily wasn’t the first Asian country I lived in.

Misconception about my country. 'Belgian people speak French (as motherlanguage)' Actually there are more Flemish (Dutch) speaking people here then French speaking. We have 3 official languages Dutch, French and German even though we are a tiny country. We do learn french in school starting age 10. Not sure about the Dutch lessons in Wallonia. But we mostly only master 1 language fully.
