Afraid of wasting paint so I end up always mixing more which lets the paint on the canvas get tacky.

@@peghood8499 Yeah, it's nice when you get give yourself enough paint. And "enough" is really more than you'll need...it's impossible to mix just the right amount. So always go for more than what you're going to need. You will need to throw paint away! It's okay :)

This is great! My go to medium is watercolor and acrylic seems to be the exact opposite of that, making it very difficult to learn how do you use acrylic. These helped a lot!

Yes, blending with acrylics is more challenging than other mediums. The best way to think about mixing is = an experiment! See what happens when you put things together.

HI Zuheyr, good question. If you're stopping for a few minutes, definitely put the brushes in water. Acrylics dry very fast and you don't want them drying on your brush. The best practice is to wash them right away and after washing, re-shape the brush by smoothing it out with your fingers.
