Nike is by far the best swim gear out there. Their suits fit awesome and goggles do not fog.

Is it good to keep your goggles under your cap when swimming in races?
@FaresKsebati Жыл бұрын
@@billbarraugh9454 It's a great strategy if you don't want any chance of your goggles slipping off!

@@FaresKsebati Thanks! I will do that from now on. I've had a problem with them slipping off when diving into the water off the block.

I am a begginer. I still keep having the same problem. Whenever I swim and I've reached the middle, my speed gets slower even after I followed all these instruction. I start kicking faster and move my hands too but its really slow and I get exhausted. Is there any mistake I'm doing?

Love your videos. New swimmer, old person here teaching myself (for exercise) with your help. I’m able to tweak my freestyle form immensely by using a snorkel. Once I get better form, I’ll work on my breathing again. Short fins help too, thanks again. 🙂

Great explanation, maybe there’s hope me to learn how to swim properly. For one I have always been afraid of water and when I did try, I exhausted myself by making many of the mistakes you mentioned. I think I’ll try it again.

I live in a retirement park. The elderlies in the pool tend to veer off course regardless what form of swimming (there’s no line on bottom and no lane line). I notice that they have a stronger side with better form and more utility. The more pronounced the weak side, the more they’d swim crooked. It isn’t just crossing over to affect swimming straight. Most people may not notice that they have a weaker side due to shoulder, neck, torso, or hip mobility issue.
@33Jenesis Жыл бұрын
@@RickMartinKZbin perhaps you can use the pool at night. I do during summer time around 7:30/8pm when no one is in the pool.
@FaresKsebati Жыл бұрын
Great observation! Without lane lines or the line on the bottom of the pool, it can be hard to stay balanced. We usually recommend a snorkel, but breathing to both sides also helps

I don't know, man... I actually teach pretty much everything in this video to a dozen adult beginners a month, but apparently I just can't make it work for me. Very aggravating and almost discouraging to think I may just be that weak!

New swimmer here will breast stroke help me lose weight ? I'm currently swimming between 70 and 100 lengths a day on a 20m pool I can't swim under water 😢 all om doing is breast stroke
@FaresKsebati Жыл бұрын
Hi there! It's awesome that you're getting in the water and getting moving, regardless of what stroke you're swimming! As long as you're setting smaller weekly goals such as keep improving on your technique, swimming more, or learning a new stroke, you're going to move toward your weight loss goal :)
