The Anarchy build for Gaige in Borderlands 2 will break you of the constant reload. Your anarchy buff goes away whenever you reload. eventually, you will get a skill that heals you when this happens, but for inveterate reloaders (like me) it can be annoying.

I used to never reload until I ran out of bullets and it did it for me. Then I became an over active relaoder, the one who shoots one bullet then reloads an entirely new clip. It was only after I started to play multi-player online like in Black Ops 2 that I learned to carefully time my reloads. It's honestly a skill that greatly increases survival once mastered.

@@nathanr6381 That's totally true, since Ultra Nightmare is basically Nightmare and permadeath combined, BFG becomes more of a last resort than anything else, but on other difficulties losing the whole progress is not a thing.

Halo Infinite's new "friend and foe" outline system is freaking awful lol so relate to that one hard after putting about 12 hours into the tech preview over the weekend. After 20 years of Halo my brain is hardwired to differentiate by armor color. Totally messed with my head haha

They should have the player's clan tags display over your team members like the older halo games did it. Clan tags only displayed over the players that are on your team, while they enemy team didn't. For me it was the clan tag that help me identify the difference more than the red and blue colors. Also the clan tag is useful for identifying team members in vehicles.

Number 9 is specially common in Farcry for the first playthrough. I always carry a pistol and an assault rifle or smg, preferably two stealth options and 2 non-stealth options. Now, if you play Farcy4 you can just do the secondary missions first and you will unlock powerful weapons that are also stealth based. Like a sniper that has the high powered scope AND the silencer while also packing extra signature damage...and a cool skin. Or maybe a shotgun that's also silenced. I recommend ALWAYS having an LMG or a launcher. Even a grenade launcher is enough since helicopters don't go too high. I have even resorted to throwing grenades (you need to learn how much to cook them or if to cook them depending on the altitude. But still, most of the time you have to guess what the missions are about and then choose the right weapons. But I do recommend two stealth options and two non stealth options. That way if you are spotted you can go blazing guns without a big deal. That only applies to Farcry, specially since I have only played 3 and 4 and used a bow during most of my playthrough during Farcy3 due to being able to easily recover ammo

In battlefield one of the biggest issues for me is definitely teammates not knowing how to give out ammo. Literally the entire chat is filled with ‘REQUEST AMMO’, my dude is shouting at a support “Hey i need some ammo” constantly and I am shooting at the player with my secondary to get their attention. I literally name them by person in chat and ask them to give me ammo. Next they look at me confused before running round the corner and dying. This is even more of a problem, after the game went free to play since I can go on huge killing sprees, run out of ammo and then find out the only support player on my team just got the game from prime gaming.

6:50 honestly the best example I can think of for me in this situation is Dark souls. I know it isn't an fps but it's still true. I tend to not use items and justify it by saying stuff like "well I don't know this boss yet, I'll die this time so it will be a waste" or "my health is so low, no point curing my poison when I can just die and run here for my souls". In the end though, all of those items that I never used found use, helping my friends who were new to the game meant I had nothing to lose by using them, so I got to experiment with an otherwise useless stockpile of lightning urns, dropping stuff to cure their ailments and so on.

Another newbie mistake i like to point out is probably aiming lower, like aiming at the knees, instead of head/upper body. Probably due to reason the guns somewhat blocking their view. Some bungie games actually kinda fixed the problem with lowering the crosshair so that we could see the world more and kinda forcing us to aim higher

Dishonored is one of the FPS that platform jumping isn't clunky. When you hold spacebar midair, the character will climb the surface if it's about knee height, so you don't miss it by few pixels.

That’s one of the things I loved about Socom. If you reloaded it would put the clip you’d used back into your inventory, minus whatever ammo you used. It’d incentivise you to not keep reloading otherwise you’d be reloading clips back in that had only, say, 10 rounds left. Then you’d reload another with only 5 rounds. It incentivised you to actually use the whole clip and swap to your sidearm if you emptied a clip mid firefight.

Here's a bit of advice for certain shooter games. Don't move faster than you can react. Always make sure there's cover nearby Incase you need to reload, make sure you know where escape locations are. The first piece of advice means don't sprint around aimlessly until you get gunned down. Always have your weapon ready unless you know you're not near enemy players or need to get to cover. Second is obvious Third is too.
