Glad you showed white ppl w ashy skin...something my BFF and I had a good laugh about back when we were becoming bff’s and going on trips together...we had come back from lounging on the deck (she went to shade and I went to sun), came back to our cabin to dress for dinner. She was shocked at how dry my skin was (always is, I have VERY dry skin), and the amount of moisturizer I needed ... and that I also used Vaseline for my feet (sock method). She said, I didn’t know white ppl got ashy skin...lol! We have a lot of misconceptions when we don’t, grow up together with other races...it’s not racist, it’s just we’re ignorant. Oh I miss my BFF so very much!! No one can take her place! As she always said we were sisters from different mothers! We were so much a like and our lives mimicked each other, it’s was crazy! Shapewear is an important part of your foundation as well. It helps smooth you out and curbs your juggling.
@Lela-plants2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for this. As an older woman (54) who worked retail for years while in school, I am often horrified at what women wear out. I find myself thinking “did you turn around and see all that going on in back?” I know I’m older and still wear slips and pantyhose but I was beginning to feel like a dinosaur. There’s a reason it’s called “foundation wear” it gives you a good base layer to help your clothing look like it should and in turn help you look better in it. Shapewear is needed for just about everyone (even zero body fat celebrities wear it to smooth things under those dresses). Also, as a former lingerie sales associate I cannot thank you enough for addressing the unaboob and spillage. Then you made my “foot thing” day by addressing funky feet! Thank you. Lol

This is one of the best and most needed videos on YT to help any woman look put together. The foundations segment was so necessary b/c this is a mistake seen everyday no matter the woman's age. Also another one is women not adjusting the bra straps and their breasts hanging toward their waists. I would have added one more bad look which is wearing slacks/sweats/shorts with the pockets sitting out instead of laying flush to the body. It screams ill-fitting and too tight. Women are so concerned about size instead of the final look. No one knows the size of the clothing when you have it on but they sure know thw outfit doesn't look right. Also I'd like to commend you for suggesting having clothing altered. How many women wear jackets with the sleeves too long or jeans gaping in the back? I so appreciated your sense of humor and kindness when delivering common mistakes we have all made. Again a much needed video 😊.

HI Alisha 👋 All these are definitely outfit ruiners and it's no joke. If you find yourself guilty of doing any of them, it's usually such an uncomfortable feeling. I lurve your outfit of the day, it looks so good on you. The hair though! 🔥💯👌 Thanks for what you said about preferring that type of hair, I learned something new. 😍😍😍

Late to the party but I love this video! About feet, some additional suggestions are the CeraVe Healing Ointment (Vaseline may do the same thing. Both on top of moisturiser while feet are still damp), and if your calluses are a little serious... Kerasal ❤️ Both can be found in Walgreens. Probably also Target

My podiatrist recommended: Urea Cream but if you want it to slough off get the Urea cream with 40% Plus Salicylic Acid. Leave it on overnight. Works great too.
