Finally someone said it, I’m from the island and that is what I remember seeing my mother and a lot of women wearing back in the day and up to this day i still think it’s gives a classy vibe, went to a brunch recently and there was an older Jamaican woman there and she was decked out in a mid length white tent linen dress with a pair of sandal, I just kept staring at her, I could not help myself .

Let me tell you this…. You nailed it. . EVERYTHING was on point. This was such a classy edition to building/ putting in place a Capsule wardrobe that NEVA goes out of style. I love trendy things like everyone else but, the neutral whites, tans, cream-Khaki colors are a no-fail. Plus, the bright colors in pants/slacks/trousers..c’mon now.. that’s the “ticket “.. it’s a clean cut- upscale look, effortlessly chic. Please, keep doing what you go.. instead of saying “let’s go”.. Love the white linen outfit! Yay for the fitted black dress….my definite “go to”!!! My two favs…ribbed maxi tank dress and maxi tube dress. My tube dress holds the greatest value and versatility to my wardrobe as it is so easily adaptable to a midi, mini, top, or skirt and both dresses can be styled countless ways! Add a denim or leather jacket and a pair of Doc Marten’s for an edgy vibe or add a pair of strappy heels and a wide brim black hat and clutch and …. WOW!! I also love white jeans, but careful planning for the day is absolutely necessary….definitely not choosing a hardy dinner at the Olive Garden or Bob’s Barbecue!!! Dressing to look expensive truly is an energy and helps to create a sense of confidence that reflects in how you walk and posture yourself and how to relate to others. Great video…thanks!!!

The last two years I’ve been loving Banana republic, and also JCrew, they’ve had lots of good sales that have brought me in. The quality of their pieces in unmatched. Banana republic factory and JCrew factory are good too but you have to pay to mail returns so I’m careful to shop there. All four stores have extended sizing and they keep the large sizes in stock. I just bought a pair of red linen pants so I have two of your items checked! The green pants look fantastic on you!
